Ivy's POV
"Mom I'm home! I'm going upstairs to do my homework" I shouted into the house while I took my shoes and coat off
"Oh honey just come into the kitchen for a minute would you, we need to talk." My mom shouted from in the kitchen.
I put my stuff down in the hall and made my way into the kitchen "Sup momma- Oh hey Baz what you doing home so early?" I looked up as I walked in to see my mom and my stepdad Barry sat at the dining table
"Hey Ivy, I finished work early today." Baz smiled up at me. I actually really liked Barry, he was good to me and my mum
"Hun we need to have a chat about something" My mom pulled out a chair and i walked over and sat down next to her and across from Barry
"Oh well is everything okay? Am I in trouble?"
"Yes everything is fine" My mom chuckled
"Yeah you're not in trouble, Vy" Barry chuckled to
"Then whats up?"
"Well" My mom reached over and grabbed Barry's hand "How do you feel about having some little feet running round"
"OMG ARE WE GETTING A PUPPY?" I squealed and my mom and Baz laughed so I frowned
"No Ivy we aren't getting a puppy"
"I mean, how do you feel about having a baby brother or sister?" My mom bit her lip and smiled cheekily at me
"Wait are you pregnant?" My jaw fell
"Yep" She squealed and we all jumped up and I hugged them both so tight
"OMG OMG OMG MOM, BARRY I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!!" I jumped up and down "Can I go tell Nic and my Dad?" I got my phone ready
"Of course, come down when you're hungry hun" And then I ran upstairs already dealing Nic's number
N~"Hello?"
I~"OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG"
N~"Wow Ivy whats up with you?"
I~"MOM DROPPED THE BIG BOMBSHELL"
N~"What bombshell?"
I~" SHE IS PREGGARS NIC!" I screamed down the phone and I heard Nicole gasp but then she also squealed
"OH MY SWEET VIRGIN MARY I'M SO HAPPY FOR YOU AND YOUR MOM AND BARRY"
"THANK YOU BUT I NEED TO TEXT ME DAD NOW"
"OKAY BUT I CAN'T FACETIAE YOU LATER BECAUSE I'M GOING OUT"
"IT'S OKAY I WILL SEE YOU TOMORROW I LOVE YOU"
"LOVE YOU TOO" And then I ended the call to text my dad. My dad is still really close friends with my mom and he has known Barry for ages so they are close, he has no problems with them being together and he knows that Barry will treat us all well. Plus my dad is now married to Linda.
Ivy~ Hey dad, Mom is pregnant how about that?x
Dad~ Awh Ivy tell them i'm so happy for them. Congratulations! Are you coming this weekend?x
Ivy~ I will do, thank you. Yeah hopefully!x
Dad~ Okay well we'll see you soon. xx
Ivy~ Will do. Love you both xxx
Dad~ Love you too Ivy xx
"Ivy, Me and Barry have decided that to celebrate we should go out for a family meal with your nan and grandpa. Get ready into something nice because nan and grandad have booked a table at a really fancy restaurant somewhere out of town so hurry up and come down when you're ready okay?"
