Chapter 5~ "He really has the eyes!"

Ivy's POV
"Ready 'Best friend'?" I walked out the bathroom to see dumbass leant against the wall with his leg propped up on it

"Shut up" I sighed as I walked past him and headed to the table "I'm back" I sat down in my seat and looked up at Jayden who was looking down at me

"I'm guessing this is Jayden?" My mom turned and raised her eyebrows at him

"Yeah that's Ivy's best friend right?" Nan chimed in

"Sure am" he came and stood right behind me and put both hands on the back of my chair

"Well do sit down and have a drink with us Jayden" my mom stood and grabbed a chair then put it in between me and Barry then Jayden sat down and then the conversations started but I tuned out. Around 10 minutes into everything I felt a cold wind hit me so I turned to see Jayden blowing on my hair

"What?" I slumped further in my seat and he chuckled

"Wow you don't seem to be enjoying yourself nerd"

"Because I'm not"

"HA!" He laughed sarcastically "Awe nerd" He kicked my leg over and over

"Dude stop now" I clenched my fist because it was really annoying but he just carried on and carried on and "OMG WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM??" I stood up out of my seat and hit him around the head

"Ivy!" My nan scolded

"Oh urm.." I looked around to see that the whole restaurant was staring at me with wide eyes "Sorry" I whispered and sat down looking at my hands on my lap

"Are you okay Ivy?" My grandpa asked with a worried look on my face

"Yeah sorry I'm fine" I clenched my teeth as Jayden chuckled discreetly

"What was that for Ivy?" My mom tutted and I just shrugged and looked down "Well I'm waiting for an answer"

"Urm w-well I urm-" Before I could come up with a rubbish excuse, Jayden stood up

"Sorry, I should go my Aunt is ready to leave I think"

"Oh that's okay Hunny! You should come around some time for tea with your parents!" My mum gushed but something about her sentence made Jayden hitch a breath

"Well maybe but my parents are always really busy and staying out of town for work so I'm staying with my Aunt for now" He bit his lip and shrugged

"Oh Okay sorry love, well you should bring your Aunt over then, it would be nice to have a gathering with Ivy's friends."

"Yeah maybe" He smirked at me and I fake gagged. Just when mom was about to speak again, Jayden's phone rang "Hello?. Yeah yeah I'm coming now. No. I don't know. I'm at table" He leant over me to see the table number "Table 17. No no it's fine I will meet you outside. No . No Aunt El-" Before he could finish his sentence, I'm guessing his Aunt ended the call "Sorry about that, it was my Aunt she is coming over" He scratched the back of his neck as if he was nervous

"Jay there you are!" a sweet voice came from behind and we al turned

"Here I am."

"Who are these people?" She waved and smiled

"Hello there, I'm Marie Charles, Ivy's mom" My mom stood and held her hand out

"Hey there Marie, I'm Eleanor Nickleson, Jay's Aunt" Eleanor shook moms hand but mom suddenly opened her mouth wide

"Oh my god, You mean Eleanor Nickleson as in El' Nickleson's fashion line?"

"You follow my line?"
