Prologue

"Dad! Stefan!"

"Run! Go, we can hold them off."

"No, dad I'm not leaving you and uncle Stefan here."

"You have to. The only way to keep you safe for Klaus and his army of Hybrids is if you run." I looked behind him and saw them coming. "Go now!" Dad said and I cried.

"I love you dad."

"I love you too, my little wolf. Now run!"

That was 3 years ago. I'm 15 now and starting my softmore year of high school. Since then I lived in another town called Beckon Hills. I live with the McCall family ever since I ran into the Hospital the day I got shot. 

 "Help!  Help!" A boy ran up to me. I looked at him and noticed he was my age. I was bleeding from my stomach because one of Klaus's Hybrids found me then decided to shoot a gun at me as I ran here.

"Hey, hey, hey clam down." 

"I need  help."  He looked down at my stomach.

"Can I get a doctor!?" I saw people running over to us. "What's you name?"

"Emilina, Emilina Salvatore"

"Ok Emilina, I'm Scott and you're going to be okay." 

After that they took me in. Scott is like my brother and his mom is the only mom that I've ever really known because mine died when I was a kid. I barley remember her. I haven't heard from my dad or my uncle Stefan. It sometimes makes me wonder if they forgot about me.

Scott says he will call when he think it's safe and our best friend, Stiles, says the same thing to me. I don't believe it because I know my father. He would have called by now. I miss them everyday but I have Scott and his mom, Lydia, and Stiles and his dad. They are my family now and I'm still getting used to not having to run and hid from the supernatural.

They don't now what happen back in Mystic Falls and in all fairness, I don't know either. All I know is that I'm supposed to run and hide if I have to. And now I have these amazing friends and family that I am not leaving behind, ever.
