Chapter 7

We all sat back down on the couch. As we talked for hours and hours, there was a knock on the door. Dad went to answer it and we all waited for him to get back. "Em, your friend's here." Dad said and I looked at Stiles and Scott, to see they were just as confused as I was. 

"Umm," I turned back in the direction my dad was in. "What's their name?" I asked him. Dad came walking back into the room with the one person I hated most in the world. 

"Theo." I heard Stiles groan and I sighed. 

"What do you want?" I asked him and he smirked.

"I don't want anything." Theo said and I rolled my eyes. Lair.

"And this is why I don't trust you." I mumbled. I felt Stiles wrap his arm around me, to bring me closer to him. I blushed at the thought of him protecting me. 

"Theo," Scott walked up to him with a smile. "What are you doing here?" He asked and Theo just shrugged.

"The pack sent me. Wanted to make sure you guys arrived here safely." Theo explained and I scoffed. Yeah right. Theo turned and looked at Stiles and I on the couch. "You got a problem?"

"Yup, and it's that I don't trust you." I explained to him. 

I got up and walked up the stairs to my bedroom. I closed the door before hoping on my bed and closing my eyes. I laid there for a few moments before I heard my door open. I looked up at the door and saw my mom walk in, then smiled.

"You ok?" She asked and I nodded.

"I just don't trust Theo, that's all." I said to her as I sat up. She came over and sat next to me. 

"Well, you friend Stiles seems to agree with you. Scott, Theo, and him are all auguring while you Dad and uncle keep trying to break them up." Mom explained and I laughed. That sounds like them. My mom looked at me before opening up her arms. I smiled before hugging her.

"Why don't you trust Theo?" She asked me and I sighed.

"There's just something not right about him." I said to her.

"Well, I'll side with you unless he surprise us all." Mom said and I laughed before nodding. I pulled away and we smiled at each other.

"Mom, I'm really tried. It's been a long day." I said and she rubbed my shoulder while nodding.

"Then get some rest." Mom said and got off the bed. I got under the cover and laid down as my mom tucked me in. "Goodnight, my darling." 

"Goodnight mom." I said to her and she started to head to the door when I stopped her. "Oh," She turned to me. "Can you tell Stiles I'm up here?" I asked and she nodded. I smiled as I closed my eyes before drifting off to sleep.
