Big Bang!

Thalia disappeared.

Peleus and Festus Jr didn't fit in the building, so we were alone. No dragons, no machine guns and no Assault Donkeys.

What troubled us most, was the army of demigods that attacked us. None of them were possessed. The I already saw millions of times in Camp Jupiter the standard they carried. It was the banner of the First Legion of Rome.

What were they doing with the enemy? We didn't have any idea. The dragons were protecting us from legionaries and mortal soldiers. But the city was a chaos. US soldiers joined the battle. Grenades exploded. Buildings collapsed. Airplanes came down. Bullets flew.

I didn't know what the mortals saw, but they saw clearly ancient soldiers, two big flying objects that blew fire and a flying tank/trireme/cruise.

"Seal the doors!" I said.

"I can't!"

"Move!"Leo threw a vial of gasoline and he burned it. The enemy moved away from the doors.

The noise faded in the background. The corridors were empty and silent. You could hear the breathing of seven people.

"Where are the guards? This isn't correct, this is too easy." Annabeth said.

"Let's find the prison and get out of here." I ordered.

An enemy demigod appeared from nowhere and attacked. He was probably fifteen. The enemy was unpossessed and attacked with rage. But he was no match for Annabeth. She disarmed him quickly and then, he was on his knees crying in pain.

"We will get the information the hard way or the easy way" Jason explained, "Now choose"

"I'm telling you nothing"

Sam took out his knife.

"I got this" Piper said.

"Tell us where is the prison" She said.

"There is no prison, this was Uranus' headquarters. He is a good god."

"Hey Leo, hive me a torch" Sam ordered.

Leo gave him a torch.

"Now, swear for the River Styx that you will tell us everything you know about Chaos' plans, unless you don't appreciate your hair and your limbs"

He remained silent.

When the torch was an inch away from his messy hair, he said, "Fine, I'll tell you"

"Wise choice" I said.

"This is a war you can't win. We control the underworld, we control the sky, we control Tartarus, we control land, we control the ocean. The mightiest legion is on our side. The nuclear arsenal is on our side."

"Tell us where are the prisoners" I ordered.

"Not here" He said.

I hit him on the leg. The bone came out. The enemy soldier cried in pain.

"Th-th-the basement! The prisoners are in the basement! Kill me please, kill me!"

Annabeth stabbed him in the heart. "Get your punishment"

We followed Sam to the basement, watching out for soldiers.

I herd a noise and I turned and saw someone. Without thinking, I grabbed his head and twisted it. I heard a crack and a lifeless body fell to the ground.

"Um Percy, that was Ron Mitchell, son of Hermes" A different voice said.

"I, I'm sorry, I'm sorry"
