"I hate hydras!" I screamed.

But no, the hydra attacking the ship had iron armor, and it had to have wings, and to make it a real battle, the army airplanes from North Korea and US thought that we were the enemy and shot everything they had against us.

Even with Leo's Chicken Nugget Smokescreen, monsters detected us. . I love war!"

On the bright side, the gods didn't take sides for the war as they usually did. And we were not blasted out of the air... yet.

Finally, a new turret on the Argo III hit  a plane and the dumb hydra jumped. The plane crashed against it and the monster disappeared in a mushroom cloud.

On the surface, mortals fought a hopeless battle against monsters and North Korean forces.

When we were away from the danger, Annabeth spoke, "One thing is for sure. If we want to win this war, we need to get allies, and stop the army from attacking us!"

"Yea, she is right, may I hear the prophecies again?" Calypso asked.

"Primordial forces shall rise
A deadly year, not nice
Armageddon or reborn
Everybody will pass
In he war of the worlds
Both, together shall twirl"

"Anybody has any idea of what it means?" Johanna asked.

"Primordial forces shall rise: Uranus, Chaos, Erebus and Nyx." I said.

"A deadly year not nice" Nobody said anything.

"Armaggedon or reborn: one way or another the war will end, possibly next year" Sam explained.

"Everybody will pass" Again, there was silence.

"In the war of the worlds, Both, together shall twirl: Monsters will interfere in the mortal war, and vice-versa." I said.

"And what about the other line? A weapon she has" Calypso interfered, "I have no weapons, unless gardening tools are weapons."

"In some other countries, Calypso was the goddess of the open sea, perhaps you are a goddess" I said.

"Where did you hear that, Kelp Head?" A new voice asked.

"The movie 'Pirates of the Caribbean'" I muttered.

"Kelp head" It said again.

We turned around and saw... Thalia and Phoebe.

"Surprised? We came here and saved a squad of Navy men from the hellhounds. I'm glad you are okay. We went to the camp and we found it possessed. Nico is our spy in there. He can't be possessed because of his dark aura."

"Where are the rest of your hunters?" I asked.

"Near Seattle, they found the source of monsters, they come out of the tower."

"Incoming!" Sam screamed.

We heard a roar and then an explosion.

We heard a thud and a scream. We turned around and we saw something fall overboard.

"Again?" Thalia groaned and she jumped overboard too.

Some minutes later, she returned with Nico. Apparently, she learnt to fly.

"Thanks Pinecone Face" Nico said.

"Don't mention it, Death Breath"

Nico explained the situation at the camp.

Chiron, the Ares cabin, the Hecate cabin, the Apollo, Zeus, Athena, Hypnos, nature spirits, Aphrodite cabins were not possessed. Also some Hermes campers were not. They were hiding in the forest, taking turns to steal supplies.
