Am I the only person who thinks Valentine's Day is a waste of time ? Not that I mind the hearts and flowers. (In fact, I insist on them.) But society's obsession with romantic love - the notion that one day you will find The Perfect One and live happily ever after - is responsible for more mischief and misery than any other myth of modern life.
All grownups ought to know this. But they don't. Our culture tells them to follow their hearts first, and not their heads. The trouble is, following their hearts makes people behave like idiots.
I might sound a little but morbid but I think that have a day dedicated to heart chocolate and roses it stupid I yet to see a day dedicate to stop world Hunger or is that just me use these day to feed yourself is hard their is people needing help.
I hope my head not the only one that think that the 14th February could be used for much better reasons .
