"Such a fragile thing, it is." A voice whispered in the dark. Blue eyes. Brown hair. The face of a man in distress. He whipped his head around looking for the source of the voice. "Gaining it is hard but breaking it is easy. Do you know what it is?" The man looked into the shadows. His eyes wide in terror. A game. Is that what this was. Just a game. Someone board. Someone testing him. He opened his mouth to speak but nothing came out. "Well?" The voice said again. This was definitely a test. It's not real, he thought. As much as his mind said this there was always doubt. The shadows seemed to swarm around him. Blinding. "Your time is almost up. Answer id you still value your life." The shadows hissed. The man opened his mouth again. "Trust? Love?" He croaked. His voice was raspy due to his dry throat. The shadows laughed. The form of a man appeared. His hair hanging over his eyes. Red eyes. Glowing, red eyes. An evil smile on his face. He laughed at the man. "Wrong." He whispered. The man's eyes grew wide. He went to scream but nothing came out. His blue eyes glazed over and he fell to the ground. Twitching a bit before going still. He laid their. Limp and dead. "Silence. The answer was silence."
