When Elora opened her eyes she was a little perplexed to not see the large window showing her the green grass set against the vast blue sky, the tall trees with their chirping birds. The confusion wore out as she slowly became further awake and more aware and attuned with reality. And as the reality finally nestled itself in so did a pang of melancholy and tiredness.

She lay in bed for a few minutes her eyes wandering around the room that will be hers for the next few years. The room was painted a grey the sky is just before it begins to pour. There was a clock on the far end of the room. She was supposed to set the clock, looks like she completely forgot.

How long was she asleep for? She thought as she turned around and peered through the window right above her bed, the sun was set in the middle.  It must still be noon, she hadn't slept for long. She'd call Wally right away if the vidphone downstairs had been set up and connected, though she doubted it would be for a good few hours.

Sitting up she rubbed the remaining sleep from her eyes and slung her feet off the bed, the floorboards were made of light-wood, and she stood up, her muscles screaming in protest, whether it was from lack of use or being used too much she couldn't tell right now.

The image of a large mass with dark brown fur played at the back of her head. The last time she saw him he was lying right where she stood at the moment. The Pokemon hardly ever moved unless there was more food available. Maybe he moved downstairs to get the said food, a smile played at her lips. Her stomach gave a rumble, food did sound really good right now.

When she entered the living room everything was set and put away, there weren't any boxes around everything was in its rightful place from the couch to the TV, the bookcase, the coffee tables, the vidphones. Her black, onyx eyes that appeared almost navy at times, exactly the shade of her father grew brighter; she didn't have to worry about not being able to call her best friend anymore. Now that she thought about it, even her room was perfectly neat. It was like walking through something chaotic one moment and blinking everything wiped clean.

"Mom, how come everything down here is so... "Elora said to Caroline who just came out of the kitchen, wiping her hands dry on the off-white apron.
"Organized?" Caroline finished for her.

"Yeah, how did this all happen?" She turned around smiling, she wasn't expecting waking up to everything steady and organized just the way she liked things to be.

"The Pokemon movers," Caroline answered, "they helped finish all the moving. Their convenience can't be emphasized."

She nodded in agreement, "They made everything so much easier."

She considered the living room, the vidphone staring back at her and grabbed her immediate attention wiping her away of any feelings of hunger or tiredness momentarily, Elora stared longingly after it too. She was itching to talk to Wally, he was her best friend, and he "got it". Not sure exactly what it was that he had, but whatever it was he had it and she knew they could go on for over long stretches not talking to each other but always start off from where they left. But since he was the just that, she couldn't wait to tell him absolutely anything.  the couch looked much too inviting and cozy and she felt going and nestling in it despite the fact she just got out of bed, and also read a book. She glanced at the bookcase and then back to the couch.
"Don't even think about it," Caroline's voice made her jump a little, "you're going right back upstairs, cleaning up and having something to eat."

"But mom, I want to talk-
"No buts, off you go." She pushed Elora towards the stairwell, leaving no room for reluctance.

With a nice relaxing shower, some clean pair of clothing had much to lift her spirits, she skipped down the stairs.
"Oh! Elli, Elli! Quick! Come quickly!" Her mother's voice reached her just as she stepped into the foyer and she immediately obliged and skidded into the living room, almost slipping on the new floors.
Caroline was wiping her hands rapidly on her apron which gave Elora the impression she just came out of the kitchen.
