ZEFF'S POV
"Okay so this is Anna my cousin. Anna, this is Maddy, she's staying with me for the time being." I say and Anna smiles and Maddy just nods her head with a smile too.
"Okay follow me, I'll get you some clothes." Anna leads Maddy away and I sigh. I walk to the training room where everyone is punching bags, doing pushups, weight lifting, and a bunch more. I stretch my body before taking a jog on the treadmill.

After fighting with a bunch of people for training, I sat on the bench, breathing hard. I took a sip of my water and leaned down until my phone rang.
"Where you at?!" I hear Elena yelling at me with music in the background. I take the phone off my ear to look at the time. It was already time for the party.
"Fine I'll be there soon." I groan and hang up on her. I was so tired. I wiped my face with the towel and hang it on my shoulder. I head over to where Anna and Maddy was and to my surprise, Anna was making Maddy fight.
"Anna!" I call out to her. She looks over at me and smiles. She jogs over as we walk to where Maddy is fighting someone.
"I just taught her basic defenses and she catches on pretty quickly. " Anna nods her head. "But she's got some weak muscles."
"We're leaving." I say. "Maddy!"
Maddy turns to me and is shoved back by her opponent. I close my eyes as she falls on the ground hard. She gets up and excuses herself from her opponent who seems utterly confused.
"Yes?" She asks, with sweat all over her. Her cheeks were flushed, she was breathing hard, and she seemed excited. "Are we leaving?"
"Yeah, let's get going." I say to her as she nods. She goes to change her clothes. She came out with a black tank top, and tight jeans.
My phone rang again and I picked it up, completely annoyed.
"ZEFF where are you?! You said you're coming! At least that's what Elena said!" Riley screams at me. "Get here right now!"
"Okay, okay, I'm coming." I say with a laugh. "See you."
I hang up and hug Anna goodbye. I lead Maddy into the car and drive to the party. WHen we arrived there, there was music heard outside the house, lights, and smoke coming from the pool area that smelt of smores and barbeque.
"What is this?" Maddy asks, like she's never been to a party before.
"It's called a party." I say as we enter the big house. Many people greet me with a hug as we make our way into the living room where people were singing along with the karaoke. "Sit on that chair, and don't move until I say we're leaving."
"Fine." She nods her head and sits down at the chair I pointed. I head out to the pool as I meet up with Riley and Elena.
"Hey, you made it." Elena gives me a hug and Riley gives me the handshake.
"Yeah." I nod my head. "GOt a lot on my hands."
"Check this out." Riley leads us to a group. "James and Tina are going at it again."
"Again? THey do this almost every time. Can't they fight somewhere else?" I say over the loud music. I look over as the girls next to me splash into the pool and smile at me. "Who's winning?"
"Probably Tina, but James is a man...You know?" Elena scoffs. I try to look over the crowd and sure enough, one of our school's bully; James and one of our school hoes; Tina were trying to get at each other's throats. They were always arguing because of their pride. I sighed and shook my head, leaving the crowd for a cold drink. I drank the ice cold sprite and leaned on the wall, watching everyone having fun.
"Hey, Zeff." A group of girl passing by me and I smile.
MADDY'S POV
What is that big thing with glowing objects inside it? Wait a minute, that's what they called a tv! Oh my gosh, a tv! I can die now....not really though. I watched as the girls danced on the guys and they all had fun. It seemed so fun. It was dim, rainbow bubbles in a colored waterlike container, and loud music. THeir dancing was horrible compared to the dancing of the Edmins. I rolled my eyes at them.
"Hey babe." Someone says next to me. I turn to see a blond haired boy with black peircings. He smiled. "You in the wrong den?"
"What?" I look at him weirdly and he chuckles.
"Troy, what about you?" He says.
"Maddy." I say.
"Wanna dance?" He asks. "I don't do classic."
"I don't know how to dance." I say and shake my head, getting a little nervous. He smiles sweetly but grabs my hand and pulls me up, his hand on my waist. He lead me to the crowd where everyone was also dancing crazily and he began moving his head to the beat.
"Just do whatever makes you happy." He says and I smiled. He seemed care free and nice. I nod my head and he put both hands on my wrists. He put them on his waist and started doing whatever the heck he was doing. I thought he was funny so I followed him and let myself go.
It was getting really hot. I felt sweat on my head, and I had to constantly brush my hair backwards with my fingers.
"What is this?" I ask myself.
