Minju's P.O.V
Suddenly, I heard someone knocking on the door.
I ran downstairs to open the door.
As I opened the it, I saw Yuri standing at the door, with her head down.
"Yuri!... Are you okay? Come in." I said, as I opened the door further, gesturing Yuri to come in.
Yuri nodded her head slightly and slowly walked in.
"Are you hungry? Do you want to eat anything?"
"No, I'm not hungry, thank you." Yuri shuck her head.
"Are you sure?"
Yuri didn't answer.
"Okay, then. Come on, let's go upstairs."
As, we both walked into my room, Yuri immediately went to the far corner of the room and sat down.
"Yuri, do you prefer to sleep on the bed or the futon?" I asked.
"I'll sleep on the futon." Yuri answered and lowered her head to her knees.
"Yuri. If you want anything, please ask. I really don't know what can I do for you to make you feel better."
Yuri lifted her head slightly. "I'll be fine. You already helped me so much. Don't worry about me. I'll just go to sleep." Yuri said in a quiet voice, as she stood up and lied on the futon. "Goodnight."
"Goodnight." I answered, as I stood up to put the lights off.
When I woke up, I instantly looked at the place where Yuri was sleeping, but she wasn't there.
I looked around and noticed Yuri sitting in the corner, not reacting to anything.
"Yuri, are you hungry? Do you want anything to eat?" I asked.
Yuri shuck her head. "No I'm not hungry."
"I'll be going down stair, do you want to come too?"
"No, I'll just sit here."
"Yuri..."
As, I went down stair, my mum was already preparing the breakfast.
"Hello Minju. How are you, today?" My mum asked.
"Hi, I'm fine. But I have a small request." I answered
"Okay, what is it?"
"Well... Yesterday, midnight Yuri came in. Her mum kind of kicked her out. She said that she doesn't need anything, but still, could you check on her every couple of hour or so? I'm a little worried about her."
"Okay, I'll keep an eye on her. But first, what were you doing at midnight, weren't to supposed to be sleeping?"
"Well... I was kind of listening to music" I answered.
"Serially, you guys these days. Okay sit down and eat your breakfast now."
(2 days later).
As I woke up, I noticed that Yuri was sitting in the corner of the room, with her head lowered to her knees.
"Yuri..."
"Oh, good morning, did you sleep well?" Yuri put a fake smile on her face.
"Good morning. What do you want for breakfast?" I slowly sat up.
"Me? I don't want anything. I'm not really hungry."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes. I'm sure." Yuri once again put a fake smile on her face.
"Are you coming to school today?" I asked.
"No, it's just like Jun said, I have no need to attend anymore." Yuri tried to find a different excuse other than not feeling good enough. The normal Yuri wouldn't miss a day of school, especially not Monday.
"Okay then, if you get hungry, feel free to eat anything you want.... Wait here, I'll ask my mum if she can look after you for a while." I turned round to go out of the room.
"Wait, Minju. She's probably have other things she needs to do. I'll be fine." Yuri said, as I was about to leave the room.
"Okay, if you're sure." I went out of the room.
"Oh, hello sweaty. How are you?" My mum asked as I went down, into the kitchen.
"Hi, I'm fine, but can you check on Yuri, every couple of hours?" I answered
"Okay, I will, but you have to eat your breakfast now. It's already 8:30, you only have thirty minutes to eat and get to the school." My mum said, as she handed me a bowl of rice.
I ate the rice as fast as I could. "Okay. I'm done. Bye." I stood up and ran out.
"Hey, Minju! How's Yuri?" I heard Jun's voice, just as I stepped into the class.
"Not good. She just sits in the corner, she hardly sleeps, and doesn't even want to eat anything. It's been three days, sins she last ate. I'm worried." I answered.
"That's really bad."
There was couple of seconds of silence.
"Oh! I know! You're really good at cheering people up. My plan is for you to just give Yuri some good motivation. Just tell her that she can't just sit there doing nothing, she has to prove her mum wrong for kicking her out." Jun said.
"Okay, that's worth a shot, I'll do that." I answered.
"If Yuri doesn't show up in the class tomorrow, I'll honestly hold you responsible." Jun said. "I really miss her. I need to see her." Jun's voice went quieter.
"I promise that Yuri is going to attend the class tomorrow." I said.
"Okay. I hope you keep your promise."
"Okay class, take your sits, the lesson is about to start." The teacher walked in.
(8 hours later)
The final bell rang.
"Okay, the class is over. Have a good evening, everyone." After the teacher said that, he walked out.
"Don't forget to talk to Yuri this evening, okay?" Jun said, as he made his way to the door.
"Okay, I will." I quickly answered.
I packed my things and walked out.
"I'm home!" I said, as I walked inside.
"Hi, how was your day?" My mum walked towards me.
"It was alright, how is Yuri?"
"Not good at all." My mum answered.
"Okay, I'll go talk to her now." I said.
I made my way upstairs, to my room.
"Hi Yuri, how are you?" I asked, as I went inside my room.
"I'm okay." Yuri answered.
"Do you want to eat anything?"
"No, I'm not hungry." Yuri answered.
"Okay Yuri. Tell me, how long are you planning on sitting there? You have to eat, gain your strength back, and prove your mum wrong. You have to show her that she was wrong for kicking you out!... Now stand up, and you'll be coming with me to the dining room. Do you understand?" I pulled Yuri up.
"Yes, I understand." Yuri answered in a weak voice.
