Joshua's P.O.V
Just as I waked up in the morning, I made my way to Yuri's room.
I knocked on the door but she didn't answer.
Then, I remembered that Yuri was with Woozi last night, when I left.
"Do you know where Yuri might be?" I asked, as I noticed Woozi coming towards me.
"Isn't she in her room?" Woozi asked.
"When I knocked she wasn't answering. Did she go anywhere last night?"
"Yes, she wanted to go to the dance studio, she said she wanted to try something." Woozi answered.
"Okay, I'll go check in the dance studio." I said, before making my way down.
As I entered opened the door I spotted Yuri lying on the floor.
At first glance she looked like she was unconscious, but as I ran up to her, she looked so peaceful.
"Yuri?" I tried to wake Yuri up. "Hey, Yuri?"
Yuri slowly opened her eyes. "What happened? Did I fall asleep?" Yuri asked as, she slowly sat up.
Yuri's P.O.V
Suddenly, I heard someone calling my name. The voice was calm and gentle.
As, I slowly opened my eyes, I saw a familiar face. Just as my vision began to get more clear, I noticed that the familiar face was actually Joshua. He sat in front of me.
"What happened? Did I fall asleep?" I asked, as I forced myself to sit up.
"What were you doing here the whole night?" Joshua's eyes trapped mine, I was unable to look away.
"I-I... was practicing." I answered.
"What were you practicing?"
"Well, I think, I kind of got the hang of the song, so I practiced singing and composed a dance to it."
"Wow, you really learn fast. How about you'll show us the dance alongside the song?" Joshua smiled.
"Yeah, I can't wait."
"Okay then, but let's have some breakfast first." Joshua stood up and then held out his right hand towards me.
I unwillingly took Joshua's hand, as he pulled me up.
(2hours later)
"Yuri, have you learned the song? Do you want to try recording it?" Woozi asked.
"Now?"
"Yes. Of course now." Woozi burst out laughing.
"Come on Yuri. Just go for it." Jun patted me on the shoulder.
"Come on. Let's go to the recording studio." Woozi smiled.
I followed Woozi down the hallway to the recording studio.
As we entered the studio, there was already someone sitting in the chair.
"Hi, can you help us? Yuri here was going to record a song we composed." Woozi asked the man in the chair.
"Yes, sure. Do you have everything ready?" The man asked.
"Yes." Woozi answered, as he sat down in the chair next to the man.
"Yuri, go inside and when we play the music, just sing as you think you should, and we will work from there." Woozi smiled.
"Okay." I slowly entered the into the studio, and took a deep breath, before the instrumental began playing.
I began singing along to the music.
As, the song finished, I took another deep breath in, and looked at Woozi, in search of his feedback.
"That was great. I really don't think we need to change anything." Woozi smiled.
I walked outside.
"Come on let's go back." Woozi, walked up to the door and held it open.
"Thank you." I bowled, as I faced the man.
I quickly ran outside the studio, and then stopped to wait for Woozi.
"That was great. You are definitely going to get in with no doubt." Woozi smiled, as he caught up and lead the way back.
"Thank you." I smiled.
As we entered the room, Jun immediately stood up and walked towards us.
"How was it?"
"Oh, Yuri is really talented." Woozi answered, before I could have said anything.
"So, what about you show us the dance you composed?" Jun placed one of his hands on my shoulder.
"What? How did you know I already worked on it?"
"Come on, Yuri. I know you way too well." Jun smiled, as he kneeled slightly to look me in the eyes."
I felt my face turning red. I had no idea of how I supposed to respond.
"So, do you feel like showing us the dance right now?" Jun stood up straight, as he continued looking at me.
I nodded my head.
"Wait, I'll go check if the disk is ready." As Woozi said that, he left the room.
After couple of minutes, Woozi returned with a disk in his hand.
"All done." Woozi smiled.
"Okay then, let's go." Hoshi lead the way to the dance studio.
When we entered the dance studio, Woozi put the disk inside the radio.
"Are you ready." Woozi asked.
I nodded a little unsure.
"Okay, I'm putting the music on." Woozi said, before pressing the play button.
As soon as the music started playing, I began dancing.
"Just how long did you work on the dance yesterday?" Hoshi asked as he stood up.
"I don't know; I didn't look at the time. Wasn't it good enough?" I lowered my head slightly.
"What are you saying? It was perfect." Hoshi smiled.
"Okay then. You'll practice again in the evening and then once more tomorrow, before the audition, and you should be full of confidence whilst auditioning." S.coups said.
I nodded, as I smiled.
(Time skip > Friday (audition)).
"Lee Yuri!" I heard my name being called out from the speakers.
I nervously stood up. I felt my whole body tremble, I was unable to move a step.
Jun walked closer to me, and then wrapped his gentle, warm, yet strong arms around me. "Yuri, calm down. You'll be just fine. We are all here, supporting you." Jun quietly whispered. "Go on, they're waiting for you." Jun took a small step away from me, as he unexpectedly pushed me in the direction of the stage.
"Yuri! Fitting!" Jeonghan shouted, as I slowly walked onto the stage.
"Tell us Yuri, why do you want to become an idol?" One of the judges asked.
"Well... my mum is very streaked on the primary subjects, such as Math, Korean and Science, so she always tells me not to waste my time on Dance and Music, which of course are my favourite subjects. She says that those things won't get me anywhere. So, one of the reason I want to become a trainee is to show my mum just how determined I am, and secondly, just simply to prove her wrong."
"Okay then, why don't you begin." Another judge said, just before the music began playing.
I immediately began dancing and singing to the song.
After I finished, the judges began to talk.
I stood on the stage helplessly, not knowing what to do next.
"Okay then Yuri, would you consider becoming a trainee as of tomorrow?" One of the judges asked.
My eyes widen, I had no idea what to say.
"Well?..." The judge lined on to the table a little.
"Yes." I raised my head.
"Okay then, as you are the very first member to join the group. Would you consider becoming the leader?"
"Yes." I said, still a little unsure.
"Then be sure to come here, to the company tomorrow at ten." One of the judges said.
"Okay." I smiled, as I bowled and unable to hold in the emotions, I ran off of the stage. Then without thinking, I ran at Jun, wrapping my hands around him.
"Yuri, are you okay?" Jun patted me on the head, as I felt tears filling my eyes.
"They said, I'll be staring tomorrow." I took a step back, as I wiped away the tears.
"That's great. Come on, I'll walk you home. Be sure to have a good rest." Jun smiled.
