Cursed?

Chapter 2

I'm crying, pleading, scared for my life. I'm not sure why but whatever is going on has made me upset.Again everything fades and i'm awaken by my alarm. I slouch out of bed and find the kitten sound asleep. "Awww", I whisper to myself. I get dressed, today I put on a pair of light jeans, a flowy top, combat boots, and a black cardigan. I brush my hair and put on my makeup then I grab the kitten and head down stairs. My mom is in the kitchen cooking breakfast and my dad has already left for work.

The kitten meows and my mom turns around. "Why do you have a cat?", she asks confused and upset. "I found her last night, please mom can we keep her", I say giving her the puppy dog face."Alright", she says,I can tell she would not tell me no becuase she feels guilty."By the way sweetie I have to work late again can you see if you can get a ride I don't want you walking home alone", she says worried. I feel terrible for her she just lost her son and now all she does is work i'd be worried about me to if i was her. "I will mom", I promise. She gives me a warm smile and hands me a plate of food.

"So whats her name", She asks me as I stuff a pancake in my mouth. "I don't know maybe something to do with the night since thats when I found her", I say still chewing.My mom gives me a thinking look and then starts poping out names,"midnight, luna, star, moon, venus, twila, eclipse....", the kitten inturrups her with a quiet meow."I kind like eclipse", I say as the kitten meows again."Do you like that name little eclipse", I tell her as she nibbles on some tuna my mom gave her. "Okay then thats taken care of now its getting late honey we better get going", My mom exclaims looking at her watch."Be a good girl eclipse", I say as I pat her head.

I get to school and with in a minute a girl runs up to me. "Oh hey Anna", I say as she gives me a small hug."Hey so I heard Damian offered you a ride yesterday and you totally turned him down", she says smirking."Woah where did you hear that?", I ask confused. "I have my sourses, anyways I came to warn you, Kathren Nixon, Damians ex also heard that and my sourse told me that she was extremly angry and was like 'I'm totally going to kill that new chick' and I was all like omg I better go warn Violet before Kathren gets to her first", Anna explains. "But I didn't even do anything and why should she care if shes his ex",I say still confused. "Idk probably becuase shes still in Love with him and hes the one who broke up with her",she continues. The bell rings inturrupting us and she quickly says, "Bye Vi ttyl good luck".

I walk to class where I find Jess waiting for me."Hey", she says with a smile. "You did'nt have to wait for me", I say to her."Relax you're one of us now and I didn't want you to have to walk in alone and late", she smiles even larger and adds, "Anyways I wanted to make sure you made it to class with Kathren and all"."Word travels fast here doesn't it?", I ask with a sigh."Sure does", she says before tugging me into class. "Don't worry everyone the important people have arrived", she exclaims to the class causing the same boy from yesterday to topple out of his seat. We sit and class begins.

After first period I nearly get out of the class before I see Damian leaning againt a locker argueing with some girl. I try to hurry past them but I guess they catch sight of me. The girl who was tall and thin with glossy black hair wearing a black dress and knee high leather boots makes it to me first. "You", she scouls at me,"I'm going to make you wish you never even looked at him". So i'm guessing this is the famous Kathren I was warned about. "And how do you suppose you are going to do that", I ask sarcastically. Sure she looks drop dead gorgeous and extremly intimidateing but she doesn't scare me.

 She literally growls at me and swings a punch. I grab her fist, twist her arm,and punch her right in the jaw. She slams to the ground and everyone stares at me in amazement. I don't even know how I did it I mean i've never fought anyone exept my brother."I don't think you know who you're dealing with Violet", she puts emphasis on my name. "You're right I don't and neither do you so I suggest you should leave me alone because I have done nothing to you Kathren", I emphasize hers too. She growls and launches at me with fire in her eyes but before she can reach me Damian jumps in front of her. "Enough Kathren she has done nothing to you and nothing to me so you need to be on your way to class", he demands in his deep smooth voice. She stomps off and flicks me off mumbeing something under her breath."Are you alright?", he asks turning toward me. We make eye contact and the world fades away.
