Cursed?

Chapter 5

Oh great its monday which means I will see both Damian and Jax today. I get up and get dressed in some casual comfy clothes. I honesty wish I could just play sick but I know Jess will be pissed if I don't show up. I pet eclipse on her soft little head then walk down the stairs. Of course mom has already left and I'm stuck again.I walk past the window and see a red convertible parked in the drive way. I run outside to see Jess holding up a bag of donuts. 

"Hey girl thought I'd drop by and give you a ride", she yells." You are the best ",I say to her as I hop in. "I know right",she smirks. God you got to love this girl. " Sooo any word from the other members of the love triangle",she asks as I stuff a donut in my mouth. "No", I lie to her,I mean I can't exactly tell her what I found out she probably would drop me and then I would loose the only true friend I have made here. She gives me the evil eye and then she to stuffs her face. 

When we get to school I do everything in my power to avoid Damian and Jax,but my efforts arnt enough. Jax is the first to stop me and pulls me aside. "Hey", I squeeze out. "Hey.....I know you talked to Damian last night",he comes on strong. "H-How", I stutter. " Believe me I wanted to tell you I really did but I was not sure you would accept me for who I am",he begins,"And who would that be",I say making sure we are on the same page."A vampire",he whispers. "You didn't answer my question how did you know I talked to Damian", I ask loudly making a few kids turn their heads in my direction." I had someone watching over you,I know what you are and I had to make sure you were safe",he says going back to a whisper. "So your solution was to stalk me and get all up in my business", I say getting angry." Im sort Violet but its for your own safety ",he says." For all I know all of you are just out to get me",I yell pushing him away without touching him like I did to Damian. I stand still as my hands glow and everyone stares at me frightened. 

I run out of the school. I look behind to see Jess, Jax, Damian, and all their friends chafing after me."Violet please stop let me help you",Jess calls."Stop running before I make you have to stop running",Jax yells. "Violet its dangerous out here you need to stop and let us help",Damian shouts.I stop and stand with my fists clenched in the middle of the woods. Everyone circles me,Jax and his crew,Damian and his,and Jess with the girls. "Stay away",I scream as I hold my hands out and my eyes turn white. Everyone is propelled backward but Jess and the girls who somehow have a force field like thing around them for protection." Violet you need to stop before you get hurt",Jess yells."You're like me",I quietly ask . "Yes now please let us help we know what you're going through and you need to stop",she says.I can't find the words to explain how I'm feeling.I wish I could just turn invisible or be transported to anywhere but here.

In a blink of an eye i'm up in a tree and I can see everyone one the ground freaking out. "Where did she go", Jax yells."This is all your fault", Damian screams at him. "My fault i'm not the one who brought her into this you could have just left her alone and let her live a normal life",Jax argues. The arguement eventually breaks out into a fist fight and I fill with so much emotion.I slip falling from the tree, I think this might be it till i'm caught by a sudden force of energy. I look over to see that Jess and the other girls have somehow caught me midfall and i'm practically floating. They set me down gentally and everyone stares again. "Violet", Jax starts but I inturrupt saying,"No don't Violet me I want the truth and the whole truth and i'm not leaving till I get it".

"Okay yes we are witches and we were going to tell you once we were sure about you", Jess starts. "We all have different abilities but you seem to possess more than one and we were not sure why", Olivia joins in and then next Anna,"I have telekinesis, Cassie is telepathic, Olivia can teleport, and Jess is a potions master". "There is many others like us but we have never seen anyone like you, you somehow can even block me from reading your mind", Cassie says. "We will tell you whatever you want to know", Jess says joining back in."Thankyou but I also ment I wanted to know the truth about Jax and Damian, one says one thing the other says the complete opposite", I snarl toward them.

"Violet", Damian starts,"I wasn't lieing about the forsaken, but I did lie about Jax being one". "We are both cursed to live for eternity as vampires, but the real reason we don't like each other is because we both have been in love with you for centurys and I only just came out to him a few years ago", Jax says calmingly. "You don't lie to the ones you love, and you don't assume I am just going to love you back because I am cursed to do so", I say tearing up. "I'm sorry it's just we were destined for each other", Damian begins before Jax cuts him off, "I have only met a few versions of you but we fell in love before Damian found you in that life". "Obviously you have moved on some bit you have exes",I say directed towards Damian. "Yes but they were just pass timers, even if I did'nt love you we are cursed for eternity", he responds."I-I need to think about this this is just too much to take in at once, i'm cursed,i'm a witch, my friends are witches, and i'm being torn between two group of vampires to see which of their leaders ,who are suppost to be on the same side, I will end up with, now did I miss anything", I exclaim. "Umm not to mention you are being hunted by the forsaken and every other evil being out there", Cassie silently buts in. "What", I yell, I begin to breath heavily untill I am transported to my bedroom.

I cry and cry till my mom gets home and runs to my room. "Oh my God Violet the school called and said you wernt there you had me so worried", she says running to hug me."I came home sick i'm really just not feeling good i'm sorry I did not call", I say hugging her back. "It's alright honey you just had my worried something had happened to you", she weeps, "I'll let you rest but next time please tell me if you are going to do some thing like this"." K mom I will",I promise. She leaves the room and I lie back down. Several texts come through from everyone including Zoey and Maddison which must have got my number from Jax. I ignore them all and just lie there with eclipse the only normal thing in my life.
