"Marry-Ann!" Anastasia ran downstairs while putting on her gloves, calling for her house keeper. "Yes madam!" Marry answered from the kitchen.

Anastasia rushed in the kitchen to find Marry wiping the counters clean. "How're you this afternoon Marry?"

"I'm fine thanks! What about you madam?" Marry-Ann was something else, she was a fine lady who was very trustworthy. She was a short old lady who was big in size and it just made her perfect. Apparently she has worked for many other assassins before, cleaning after their rubbish- whether they lived in a clock tower, a train or even a proper house, Mary-Ann Staiton did the job.

"Im alright! Marry, Jacob and I are heading out, James is being fussy -sorry about that- could you keep an eye on him for me? Thanks." Anastasia side hugged Marry before rushing out the door to head to Jacob who was waiting for her on a carriage.

The thing is, to Marry, she's never worked for an assassin as nice as the two couple- the usual assassin she'd slave herself for were rude, harsh and never would they ever, put their arms around her. She was glad she was working for the Frye household, she felt at home more than she ever felt anywhere else.

Instead of asking one of the rooks to drive the carriage, Jacob took the liberty to do it himself this time- his grip on the reins were tight as Anastasia was sat beside him. Their place was a bit far from the place they were going to- another death has occurred- for almost a year, things have been quiet but now many crimes have been committed.

Jacob was fairly quiet and Anastasia didn't like it- he was never quiet. The man always had something to say. "Whats on your mind, love?" She put her book down and scooted beside him, wrapping her arm around his waist- leaning her head on his shoulder.

"I always worry about James when we leave." Jacob's eye twitched, indicating to Anastasia that he wasn't telling the truth. She snorted loudly and Jacob faced her instantly. "Bullocks dear Jacob, tell me what is really bothering that little head of yours." Her arms moved to his neck and she wrapped them loosely around her husband's neck.

"I can never lie to you can I?" He asked with a small smirk that spread across his lips. "Never. I can read you like a book dear boy, I thought you already know by now." Jacob glanced at Anastasia.

"I just worry...about you- I mean- you just delivered James a few months ago. You're all exhausted and I'm scared you're gonna slip and something'll happen." Jacob sighed- Anastasia took notice since a long time ago that Jacob had a problem expressing how he really felt- and when he did express his feelings like now- it was a big step, and she was always proud of him for doing so.

"Nonsense Jacob, I'll be fine. To make you feel better- I'll be by your side." Even with Anastasia's reassuring words, Jacob still couldn't help but worry about her. However, he let it slide and kissed her on the forehead.

Jacob and Anastasia stood over a dead hooker's body, her guts were no longer inside- it was all over the pavement. The police however, was retelling Jacob what he told the other police. "They don't know who did it but rumors are spreading about this 'Jack The Reaper' bloke." The police man with the walrus mustache said from beside Jacob. "They say he did it."

The two assassins scanned the area with their eagle vision- only to find no clues left behind by the murderer. "Do you really think its him?" Anastasia whispered from beside Jacob. "It could be.." Jacob sighed, done from the situation, he pulled Anastasia close to his body, wrapping his arm around her waist before launching the two of them on a roof top using his rope launcher.

The two kept searching for more evidence from above, still finding nothing- the two decided it was time to give it up. For now.

"Ready to go home?" Jacob asked his wife.

 "Always."

"How's James?" Anastasia asked Marry in a whisper as Marry  placed the sleeping boy back in the crib. "He's doing alright madam- he just fell asleep." She said slowly, approaching Anastasia who was by the doorway.

"Speaking of which- I received a letter for you. Shall I prepare you and mr Frye some tea?" Marry handed the letter to Anastasia who accepted it politely. "That'll be pleasant, thank you."

Anastasia made her way to her bedroom, who witnessed a tired Jacob rubbing his eyes and removing his shirt.

Anastasia opened the letter to only be hit with Sam's neat writing.

Dear Anastasia,

Japan is great, everything is going as planned. However, I'm taking place in Germany and after I've accomplished my task, I'll be back before you know it. How is little James? I've got some items for him. Send my regards to Jacob and the rest. I do apologize that this letter is rather short, but I just liked to reassure you that I'm alright.

See you soon Anastasia darling.

                          Sincerely, Sam

"Sam sends his regards to you." Anastasia stored the letter in her drawer, thinking of writing back to him the next day. Jacob took the tray from Marry that had their tea in it. "Ah! the lad! How's he doing in Japan?" Jacob said while shutting the door.

"Just fine!" her voice echoed through the room as she was changing her clothes in the closet area. When she was done, she threw herself on the bed and curled up.

Jacob prepared their tea unaware that the moment Anastasia's head hit the pillow, she was fast asleep. "Sugar as usual love?" Before she could even reply, he quickly replied with a cocky grin and tone. "Maybe I should put my finger in it, I'm sweet enough."

He still didn't get a reply.

"Ana?" He turned around with a confused face- she would usually answer but this time she didn't. He turned around only to witness her already asleep. He sighed and smiled to himself. "You missed it- it was a good pun, love." He said to himself. He left the tea on the dresser to turn cold and went towards the bed, slipping in the sheets only to wrap his arms around Anastasia.
