Chapter 10

Riley's P.O.V

James pulls into a resturant. He gets out and runs around to my side to open my door for me. I smile and get out.

"Thanks." I say, smiling.

"You're welcome." He smiles then walks in with me. He tells the front desk person that he has reservations for two. The man smiles and nods then leads us to our table.

"You're waiter will be here in a minute. Do you want anything to drink while you wait?" He asks.

"Umm. Just a coke" James said.

"I'll have a coke too." I say.

He smiles and nods then walks off. A few minutes later, the waiter comes over to us with our drinks and menus.

"Here are you drinks." She smiles and sets them down. "And you're menus." She sets them down also.

"Thank you." We both say.

"I'll be back in a minute to take your order." She says then walks away-

I pick up my menu and look at it. Hmmmm. What should I get?

James puts down his menu and looks at me.

"I know what I want. Do you?" He asks.

"Yeah."

When the waiter comes back to our table, I hear voices that sound like Steph, Tiff, Giselle and Em. Seriously? They didn't follow us, did they?

"Earth to Riles." James says.

"Huh? What? Oh. Sorry." I look at the waiter. "I'll have the cheeseburger combo." I say. She nods and walks off.

"What's wrong?" James asks.

"I think the girls followed us here."

"What? What girls."

"I mean, Stephanie, Tiffany, Giselle and Emily followed us here to see how the date's going."

"Ohhh." He looks over at their table then at me.

"Just try to ignore them. If they text you, just ignore it."

I smile and nod. "It's okay. I left my phone at home."

He smiles. "That's good."

Our food comes a while later and we eat.

I can tell that the girls are looking at us because I can feel Em's eyes on my neck. I know, Creepy right? That's why I hate having her a sister sometimes. I can't believe I'm saying this but, sometimes I wish I had Beth as a sister.

"You ready to go?" He asks.

"Yeah." We walk out to his car and he drives me home. I get out of the car and he walks me up to the house.

I smile.

"I had a nice night. Thanks." I say, kissing his cheek. He smiles.

"You're welcome, Riles. I just wanted you to know how sorry I am."

"I know."

He smiles and leans into kiss me. Now's your chance Riley. Kiss him. Oh shut up. Make me. I will when I'm done doing this to him. I lean in and kiss him. He kisses me back then pulls away smiling. Now, Shut up! Okay. Okay. Fine. Thank you.

"Thank you." I mumble.

"What?"

"Nothing. Just arguging with myself." I say, giggling.

"Oh."

"Yeah."

"So, does this mean we're back together?"

I nod and smile.

"Yes. This means we're back together. But, if you even look at Beth, I will never NEVER talk to you again. Got it?"

He nods.

"Yes, Ma'am."

I giggle and kiss his cheek.

"Good night James."
