Chapter 7

Liam's POV

After Megan had filled me in on everything that had happened, I rung simon to tell him that Harry had recieved another note.

"Hello" He answered

"Hi Uncle Si, It's Liam"

"Oh, hi Liam, how are you, how's Harry?"

"Um, that's kinda what I wanted to talk to you about. He's got another note"

"Hm" He sighed disapprovingly "What did it say this time" He carried on, in an almost impatient voice.

"12 million by tomorrow lunchtime at Starbucks on Rose Street"

"12 million? He's never asked for that much before"

"I know, what are we going to do?"

"Something needs to be done. Ah, I have the perfect idea"

"What is it?"

"Harry must fake date someone, It's going to have to be one of those fake blonde bimbos that he's usually seen with otherwise it won't be believable. I would suggest Megan, but she's not exactly fake, and from what it sounds like, Mr X already knows about Megan."

"Yeah, he mentioned her in the note warning Harry not to bring her with him. But why?"

"Well if Mr X thinks that his notes aren't affecting Harry as much as he thinks they should, and if he sees Harry living his life as normal then he might slip up in frustration to get to Harry"

"Okay, sounds like a good plan to me"

"Okay then, I will arrange something and send her to your location in Germany by tomorrow. Tell Harry what's happening."

"Okay, bye"

"Bye"

I walked into the other room where Megan and the other boys were in the sitting room watching TV, obviously trying to take their minds off what had just happened.

They all looked up I surprise as I walked in, but soon relaxed after they realised that it was me. Wow, this last note from X must have really gotten to them.

I sat down by Megan, the only seat that wasn't taken, and she smiled at me, while I smiled back.

"So guys, I've just talked to Simon. He has had an idea, but I'm not sure whether you'll like it" I said, directing the last part at Harry.

He nodded at me, gesturing me to continue, so I did

"He wants you to fake date someone so Mr X thinks that his notes are having no effect on you."

"FAKE DATE? How could I do that, we'd be lying to the fans and I don't like lying, I can't do that, I'm rubbish at acting-"

"Harry, calm down. Simon doesn't need you to act too loved up yet, he just needs the basics, so don't worry, you'll be fine."

Harry bit his lip anxiously and then his face lit up, as if he had just thought of something. Sure enough, he had thought of something

"What about Megan? Can't we fake date? It would be much easier as I know her already and Simon wouldn't have to fly anyone in, and she knows how to protect herself!" Did I detect a little hopefulness in that question? I must be dreaming. Harry is more of a one night stand type of guy, not one to settle down.

I replied saying "No, Mr X already knows about Megan, as he said in the note, so that wouldn't work. Simon's sending a girl over for tomorrow. Tomorrow night we should go clubbing or something, just to introduce her to the fans through the paps, and then the day after we can arrange an interview to clear things up."

Megan looked down at the ground for a minute before looking up and saying

"Yeah, good idea"

She then promptly got up and walked out of the room and out of the hotel room completely, and back into hers and Harry's.

Megan's POV

Fake dating someone else? Are you serious? God really didn't want to make my life easy did he? I mean, being around Harry and not being able to say anything was hard enough already, even with all my training. How am I going to cope with watching him look all loved up with a girl who isn't me?

And I thought the only difficult thing about this assignment was going to be Liam. I was so naive.

So that was chapter 7, the drama really starts here and the whole plot kind of kicks off at this point, so keep reading guys!
