Chapter 17
(The next day )
Rachel's  pov:
We arrived in Myrtle Beach , South Carolina and Layla and I booked two rooms one for her and I and the other for Finn. We were unpacking when there was a knock on the door . I opened it up and saw Finn.

"Hey Finn." I said opening the door .

"Hey girls, wanna head down to the beach?" He asked us .

"I'm kind of tired so you mind if I catch up with you guys later?" Layla asked us .

"Are you sure sweetie ?" I asked her .

"Yeah ." She said .

"Okay let's go." I said to Finn and we left .

(The beach)
Finn and I walked the beach as if we were a couple.

"Wow it's so beautiful here ." I said .

"I know it's great." Finn said .

"Nothing like New York." I said .

"And definitely nothing like Lima." He added .

I smiled and said ,

"You know I'm really glad you came with me ." I told him .

"I'm glad I came too ." He said smiling at me .

"You know I'm really happy that Layla is getting to know you Finn. She can't stop talking about you ."  I said .

"Well I'm happy I'm getting to know her too . She's a great kid Rachel , you did a good job." He told me .

"Thanks ." I said .

"So why is it you two wanted to get away ?" He asked me .

"My parents came to visit and that was horrible . " I said .

"How bad ?" He asked me as we sat down in the sand.

"I got called a bad mom." I said .

"You're not a bad mom Rach, if anything your badass ." He said .

I smiled and said ,

"Thanks Finn."

He looked at me and we had a moment and then I got up.

"Come on old man ." I said and helped him up.

"I'm not that old." He said .

"Okay sure ." I said smiling .

"If I'm old then so are you ." He said .

"If I'm so old then why can I still do this ?" I said and did a cart wheel .

"As I remember you're very flexible." He said .

"Okay sure ." I said .

"I mean it , you haven't aged a day." He told me .

I smiled and just as I thought something was about to happen I said ,

"Catch me if you can!" And ran away.

"I'm going to get you!" He yelled laughing and ran after me .

He picked me up and spun me around .

"Finn!" I yelled laughing .

He put me down on the sand and our eyes connected.

"I missed you Finn." I said .

"I missed you too Rachel." He said .

"You can kiss me if you want too." I said vulnerable.

"I want too ." He said leaning in.

He came slowly and held my head as his body came on top of me gently and with a single second he kissed me passionately.
