Jaden waited all day for Yusei to get home; he had everything set for their big 6th anniversary dinner. Jaden smiled and started to put rose petals down from the door to the table.
The front door opened and a tired looking Yusei stumbled into the door. He sighed and was greeted by a smiling Jaden.
"Welcome home Yusei!" Jaden exclaimed happily; wrapping his arms tightly around Yusei's torso.
"Hello to you too." He laughed and hugged Jaden back just as tightly. "What's the occasion?" He asked confused.
"You'll see." Jaden giggled and lead him to the dining room. He gave Yusei a plate and sat across the table from him.
"Jaden are you sick or something? You never make this much food..." He asked concerned and ate some.
"No, I just want my Yusei to have a good meal." Jaden smiled and hugged Yusei's shoulders.
"That's sweet Jaden. I'm really liking this food." He grinned and wiped his face. "Sometimes your too sweet to me."
"Soo...do you remember what today is?" He asked Yusei sweetly. Batting his long brown eyelashes.
"Um..it's the 21st." Yusei asked/stated slightly confused.
"Well yea, but what's on the 21st of every year?" He asked him starting to get slightly annoyed and worried.
"Um...It's Wednesday, May 21st. How could I forget a day this important?!" Yusei exclaimed; Jaden smiled and held his hands together.
"Really?! You remember what today is!" Jaden jumped and ran upstairs to get his gift for Yusei.
"Of course, I almost forgot today's Jack's birthday." He laughed at his forgetfulness and made his way to the phone.
Jaden stopped and tears ran down his face. 'How do I always come second to Jack...?' He thought and threw his gift against the wall.
"What the hell Jaden! What's wrong with you?!" Yusei exclaimed after hanging up the phone.
"YOU FORGOT OUR ANNIVERSARY DAMNIT!!" He screamed then went back upstairs. He took all Yusei's clothes and started throwing them downstairs.
"What are you doing!" He yelled as his clothes were thrown at him along with other assorted items.
"I want you out!" Jaden yelled and handed him a suitcase. "Pack all your shit and get out or I'm callin' the cops!" He raged.
Yusei unwillingly complied and packed all his clothes. He looked back at the angry brunette and sighed.
"Get the hell out!" He cried and ran back upstairs and slammed the door.
Yusei dropped his bag and went up to the room and sat on the bed. "Jaden...I'm sorry." He whispered.
"I DONT WANNA HEAR ANYTHING YOU HAVE TO SAY!" He yelled; muffled but the pillow he buried his face in.
"Jaden, please listen to me." He pleaded and moved to the pillow and flipped Jaden over easily.
"Don't touch me Yusei!" Jaden said and kicked his legs. Yusei grabbed his ankle and held him down.
Jaden looked into Yusei's sapphire gaze and his eyes were lidded. He tried to get away and turned his face.
Yusei smiled at Jaden's bashfulness and kisses his cheek softly. "I'm sorry." He whispered into his ear.
"N-no you're not! I don't wanna hear anything you have to say!" Jaden yelled and kicked his feet.
"Jaden~ Jaden~ Please calm done." He called lowly and turned his face back.
Jaden slowly turned his head and tears ran down his cheeks. "You forgot... Why do I always come second to Jack!" He cried and pushed Yusei off him.
Yusei was shocked and watched as Jaden stormed out the house. He chased him and tried to grab him.
Jaden blindly ran across the street and stopped in the middle of the street. "I HATE YOU YUSEI FUDO!" He screamed.
"JADEN!" Yusei cried before a blinding light engulfed Jaden and screeching tires were heard.
<<Time Skip: Domino Church>>
There he laid in a mahogany coffin; he almost looked as if he was asleep. Black and red flowers lined the aisle.
Yusei sat there in the front, a small black box rested in his hands and he wiped his eyes.
His love, his star, his Jaden..was gone. He lost his life the day of there 6th anniversary; after his argument with Yusei.
'I hate you Yusei Fudo!' Was all that played through his mind the whole time at the funeral.
Yusei stood and walked over to the coffin and took out an onyx and ruby ring; He slipped it on Jaden's finger and kissed his lifeless hand.
"I'd never forget anything about us my sweet Jaden Yuki. I love you even in death." He whispered and kissed him.
"Sleep Peacefully My Darling." He smiled and walked out the church.
