Yami looked at his phone read the message he got from an unknown number over and over.
'You're the only shadow in my bright world. But I love it, I want you to take over my sunshine world and engulf me whole. Be 私の光に闇 or 'The darkness to my light' I want you Yami Sennen. I love you for now and forever.'

Yami rattled his mind and thought of all the people he called 'hikari', he wrote down a list. "Okay....so that's no one..." He said and laid back on his bed. "Who is this?" He asked silently and looked at the phone.
"Knockity, knock knock. Hi Yami." Atem smiled and opened the door peeking in with his identical boyfriend Heba. "What's wrong with you?"
"Hi Yami. How are you?" Heba asked and walked inside and sat on the foot of Yami's bed.
"I'm pissed." Yami said and sat up. "I don't know who this 'Hikari' guy or girl is." He said and showed Heba the text. "Do you know this person?"
"Hey Ate, who's Hikari?" Heba asked and handed the phone to Atem. "I'm stumped."
"Well, 'Hikari' is Yugi Moto. He's a ball of sunshine and it seems he's fallen for the darkness of Yami." Atem laughed. "How could you not know that?"
Yami and Heba looked at each other in confusion. "How did you know that Yugi is Hikari?" Heba asked.
"I gave him the nickname." Atem shrugged. "And that's why Heba is 'Habibi'" Atem smiled and put and hand on Yami's shoulder.
Yami looked at the hand and then to his brother. "Why would you give him that nickname? And how'd he get my number?!" He exclaimed and texted Yugi back.
'YUGI 'HIKARI' MOTO IM NOT KIDDING WHEN I FIND YOU IM GOING TO KILL YOU!!!! >>>>:C' he texted in all caps.
Moments later Yami got a message back from Yugi; 'Look out your window.' was all he typed back. Yami walked to his window and looked down to see Yugi standing in the rain looking up at him.
Atem and Heba ran over and looked down at him. "Hikari! What are you doing in the rain?! You'll catch a cold!" Atem called down and Yugi just stood there holding his phone.
"Yugi! Why are you outside Yami and Ate's house?!" Heba called and their amethyst eyes clashed. Both had an iron gaze, Heba turned and walked out the room.
"What's wrong with him?" Yami asked and turned away. Atem kept watching and saw a blade come out from behind Yugi's back.
"Yugi! Why do you have a knife!?" Atem yelled and ran downstairs and outside the door to Yugi. "Yugi! Put the knife down...."
"Why?! Why should I do that!! All that I want is for Yami to love me but he wants me to die." Yugi said and pulled off his black sweater revealing a torso and arms covered in scars.
Atem looked at the one he call Hikari and saw his face was red from the cold and crying. "Hikari..." He said and pulled Yugi close to him.
"I love him...he hates me...he wants me dead. Why don't I give him what he wants Atem?" Yugi said and kept crying. "I can't eat, sleep, think, I can't do anything but cut without him..." He cried and still held the knife tightly.
"Hikari, please stop talking like that...Yami loves you. I promise." Atem said and wiped the tears off Yugi's face.
"No he doesn't, he wants nothing to do with me....Isn't that right Yami!?" He called looking up at the window. "Don't you hate me?"
Yami sat on the floor under the window and covered his ears like a child. "Shut up, shut up..." He said and put his head down on his knees.
"You want me dead right?! So why don't I give you what you want!" Yugi yelled and slashed his pale wrist with the knife. Atem quickly grabbed his wrist and ripped off the sleeve of his black shirt.
"Damnit Yugi," he silently cursed and tied the sleeve around the gash. He pulled out his phone and called an ambulance for Yugi. "I hate when you get like this..." He mumbled.
<< 3 years later>>
Yami had moved away from his childhood home after the incident with Yugi and moved back to start a new life. He unpacked some boxes and heard his doorbell ring.
"Knockity knock knock, Can I come in?" A familiar soft voice called and Yami walked to the door. He opened it to see a cherub face.
Yugi stood taller, about 5'5. He dyed his hair from amethyst tips to blood red ones and wore black leather that hugged his leith,delicate frame. His face still adorned that childish smile and large, beautiful eyes.
"Y-Yugi?" Yami said slightly startled and a bit happy. He saw the arms that still barred many scars and burns. They held out a gift for him and Yami took it.
"Here Yami. Atem wanted me to give this to you if you ever moved back." He said sadly.
"What do you mean? Where's Atem?" Yami asked. "Where's Heba?"
"Heba and Atem are on vacation and didn't know where to send the gift." Yugi said and Yami gave a small smile.
Yami took the gift and looked at Yugi's arms. "So...how've you been?" He asked awkwardly and looked at Yugi.
"I've been, a bit better...after you left I had a chance to think some things over...." He said and started walking away. "See ya around Yami!" He called back to him.
Yami leaned against the door frame and opened the black and red wrapped box. He opened it and saw a chocker with a dead rabbit on the end of it. "WHAT THE HECK!?" He yelled, throwing the box he clutched his chest. A note fell out and he picked it up.
'Dear Yami,
I gave you my light and you left me in the dark, I'll be sure to torment you as long as you stay here and keep playing games. I still love you and I'm willing to choke anything that tries to replace me. Be sure to wear the gift I got you. I'll be watching you....

Yami froze in fear and looked out the door and saw Yugi was gone. He picked up the rabbit and took the choker off it. "What have I come back to?" He breathed and put the chocker on.
