Chapter 7

Damien's Pov

"Dude, she looks better than what you said she was" Kane smirked but I could also hear his dirty needs.

I lowly growled at him with a match making glare. Cameron puts his hand on my shoulder calming me down, we've been best mates ever since I moved schools when my father passed away.

"Shut up you asshole" we're now walking back to the cafeteria since we had an 'issue' to deal with at the back of the school. I walked in first through the back door followed by silence sweeping the building.

Yasmine was in he middle of the cafeteria looking pissed while Ella battered her eyelashes trying to be innocent. I see Liam getting up and strolling up to them, taking big steps. Aaron nudges my arm, "What did we miss?"

I shrugged but I could tell something was up.

"Babe, she told me to kill myself" Ella pouted and hid behind Liam as a shield.

"Is this true, slut?" that made my blood boil. No one calls my Rose a slut, if he wants a slut, take a fucking look behind your ass. Yasmine didn't respond making Liam's facials turn deadly, he caught onto her white shirt and roughly shook her. "Answer me!"

Oh hell no.

I motioned for the boys to come, I see Liam growing more irritated and brings his hand up but I got there just in time to stop it from hitting the beauty in front of me.

I grabbed hold of his wrist and pushed him away "Fuck off, Liam" I moved Yasmine behind me. The coward got right into my face, our noses almost touching.

Luckily I'm a few inches taller than him which makes my status look intimidating. "Or what? Gonna beat me up? Why are you even defending her anyway?"

Questions. What's up with all the questions?

"She isn't any threat and she's still human" I said out loud with all honesty so everyone can hear. Liam smirked.

"That's not what you said about my sister"

I glared at him and turned around to only find the boys nodding to me, dragging a confused Yasmine out of the cafeteria. I turned back around. "Your sister, was an issue" I spat, lacing the word 'sister' wit disgust. Liam's eyes flashed anger through them and gritted his teeth.

"Don't"

"Don't do what?" I ask innocently as I grinned.

"Shut the fuck up" he yelled, I can practically see steam blowing out of his ears.

Good.

I turned around but keep my voice low only for him to hear.

"It wasn't my fault you dragged her into our dangerous world"

School past by with blur. I'm pretty thankful each one of us, (meaning Cameron, Aaron and Kane) are in her classes. So if I wasn't there then she's got one of the boys.

Right now I'm standing outside the school entrance with my hands in my pockets, waiting for the bell to end school. I had PE last period but I can't be bothered to get change.

BRINGGG

A wave of students flew out the door. The boys came out with a lost looking Rose in deep thought, I walked up to her and slowly took her hand in mine. She snapped back to reality and slipped her hand out of mine keeping her head down. A pang of hurt hit me but I quickly masked my expression.

I heard her cursed under her breath before she spoke. "Thank you" she softly mumbled.

I immediately caught onto what she was saying and told her not to worry about it. We went up to the boys in the parking lot.

"Hey it's Yazzy" Kane blurred. We all chuckled and talked for a while till they all left, leaving me and Yasmine behind.

"Come on, I wanna take you somewhere" I trudged onto her arm and lead her towards my Black Lamborghini at the back.

Yup I have a Lamborghini. Perks of my current job.

Yasmine's mouth dropped open. I chuckled at her reaction and opened the door for her. "This can not be your car" she slowly said admiring the dash board while rubbing her hands all over the leather seats.

I wonder what her ass would look like on the seats, bare.

I shook my head from that thought and turned on the ignition, hearing the smoky roar coming from the engine.

"So where are we going?" Yasmine ask, turning her head to me.

"Just be patient Rose" I smirk. At the corner of my eye I see her huff in annoyance but keeps her mouth shut.

A few minutes later I put the car to a stop on the side of the road. "We're here"

Yasmine looks up and gasps, I'm guess she hasn't been here in a long time then. In front of us is our childhood park around the corner to our house's, filled with happy and funny memories, I bet our carvings are still there. We got out of the car and walked side by side and sat down on the swings in comfortable silence.

"Remember when I got stuck in the net" Yasmine pointed to the huge triangle shape net with ropes connected together. I chuckled remembering that memory like it was yesterday.

*Flashback*

"Shame! You can't catch me!" seven year old Yasmine shouted and took off running with me on her tail.

She started to climb up the monster's web sticking her tongue out. I stopped and watch her trying to reach the red rope above her but her chubby hands slipped. Yasmine let out shriek as she hanged upside down with her right foot being tangled in the ropes.

"Damien!"

"Don't worry, Rosy Just stay calm and still" my eight year old self said. I hear our mums screaming out to us behind me as I carefully climbed up, trying not to move her. I got up to her and was about wrapped my arm around her tummy but a stupid bird got in my way and shirked in my face.

That startled Rosy, she screamed as she was going down but I was quick enough to catch by her tummy and pull her to me.

We got down to the ground and Yasmine threw herself at me "Thank you! I would've died! But I had my 'Knight' in shining amor" she giggled. I couldn't help but smile and admire her flushed cheeks.

"I was your Knight in shining amor" I smiled as she giggled with blush appearing on her cheeks. I got up and tagged Yasmine along with me into the forest were our carvings were on a tree. Yasmine traced her fingers over the words.

She had a warm smile on her face but it quickly vanished as she withdraws her hand. It's after six now with the sun slowly setting, painting  the sky with pink and purple, we got back to the car and my phone ringed. Without looking at the caller ID I answered it.

"Hello?"

"We have another issue with The Black Skulls" I heard Cameron's voice on the line sounding tired.

"Again? Can't they get the massage?" I ran a hand over my face and see Yasmine looking at me. "Just wait for me, I'l be right there" I end the call and turned on the ignition.

"Who was that?" Yasmine ask.

"Cameron, he just needs some help with his mum" I lied. I can't let her knowing the truth.

We drove in silence till I pulled up on her driveway. I told Yaz I would take her again to the park and she agreed. She got out and waved to me and went inside without a second glance. I backed out and drove straight to woods were the boys were.

I got out and entered the old abanded warehouse. Men bowed their heads in respect as I walked through the dark and cold hallway. Spider webs and insect were crawling on the walls with the stench of blood is still lingering in the air but not as bad as before.

I don't want my Rose to get involved in this kind of life I have but it's too late since The Black Skulls are already making moves towards her. She's too innocent for my world but I can't help but want her.

Making my way to the big metal doors, the guard nods his head and opens the door.

"Boss"
