Chapter 9

Yasmine's Pov

I arrived at school and scanned the area for two dark head females.

My eyes finally landed upon them and made my way, Paige looked at me but I held up a finger close to my lips to keep quiet. She ghostly nods and continues to talk to the person in front of her. I slowly crept up being quiet as I can and tickled her sides.

Rase yelped and screamed at the same time, randoms eyed us weirdly but shrugged it off. As Rase regained her posture she turned to me and glared.

"Stop doing that! I swear you're half ninja" she said with one arm wrapped around her stomach and the other firmly pointing at me.

I shrugged "Perks of having a dad like mine" 

Paige is grinning at me like crazy, I'm scared she's becoming Joker #2. "What?"

"Oh nothing just... can we see the guys?" she shyly ask. Rase and I smirked at her and wiggled our eyebrows. Lucky for Paige her skin is a darker than mine and Rase so you can't see her blush but we can obviously. 

I looked over the school for a car or a certain boy I should say . When I couldn't find a specific silver eyes, I gave up and told Paige they're not here yet.

Her shoulders slumped down and I chose to say something before I went to my locker. "Don't worry, I know one of boys would wanna bang you"  I punched in my code and opened my locker to only find more hate letters fall out, I sighed.

Paige and Rase caught up to me as I picked up the papers and quickly shoved them into the back of my locker, I grabbed my books and propped them into my bag. I smiled at the two, they both shared a look like they were communicating to each other through brain waves type shit. I heard a 'ding' go off and Rase picked up her phone and frowned.

"What's up?" I asked.

She let out a sigh "Nothing, Leah just texted me that we got practice again" she pauses "This is bullshit" she mumbles.

Somehow the atmosphere change a moment later, like something is weighing us down. People's voices start to drop to mere whispers. By the look that the girls gave me I grew confused, they looked like they were seeing candy for the first time. Their pupils starts to dilate.

A pair of hands went around my waist and I let out a yelp and swing my hand back. I heard a groan from behind.

Damien was clutching his nose while cursed under his breath, behind him I see Cameron, Aaron and Kane snickering. I muttered an 'oops' and helped him. I pulled his hand down and took out a spare tissue out of my bag and tip toed my way up and wiped the little blood off. It was like the world stopped around us, we looked into each other's eyes. 

A cough brought us back and I smiled sheepishly "Sorry"

"Damn, I forgot you had a hard hand" somehow my innocent mind turned dirty for a sec. I shook  my head and turned towards the girls. 

"Girls, this is Cameron, Aaron and Kane" I pointed to each of them "Boys, these are my best friends Paige and Rase"

Damien and I look back and forth at the two groups still gaping at each other. The bell rang, so I took that as the cue to draw the girls closer to the boys. Paige's eyes won't leave Cameron's hypnotising gaze, even when I slapped her cheek lightly she didn't move. Where as Rase and Aaron, Aaron has a smug smile plastered to his face while Rase bites back a smile but fails since her dimples are on a show.

Then there's Kane. Sticking his tongue down a random chick's throat.

The day went by faster than I expected but I can't help shake off the uneasy feeling. Paige the dumb idiot won't talk to me! All she does is smile and talks to lover boy. 

I roll my eyes and made my way to fourth period. 

Italian.

You know it's not fair! Damien knows the freaking language, why does he take the stupid class. I already know he's gonna pass, hell I bet the boys know the language too!

I walked through the door and found Paige, Aaron and Damien sitting at the back. Sitting down next to Paige, I heard the chair behind me scraping against the ground making me cringe a bit. Paige's eyes went from side to side so I look next to me and saw ass-head there sitting down to the table to my right. 

I huffed and started talking to my best friend about our plans for later on but being the idiot Damien is he steps in.

"You girls wanna hang with us after school?" he ask grinning.

You know ever since he came back there is something different, and I don't mean his appearance but this vibe around him. Sometimes I want to be a million miles away from him but then again....I don't want to.

My eyes search Paige's for a yes or no answer but she gave me a shrug. Well that's fucking helpful.

I roll my eyes and turn to Damien "I don't know, what are you planning?"

He looks at Aaron for a sec before looking back into my eyes "The boys and I are going to the arcade at the mall" 

"I don't know" I turn to face an immature looking girl bouncing up and down in her seat, saying 'please, please, pease'. 

Goosebumps crawled up my skin when I felt Damien's breathe on my exposed neck. He inhales my scent as his nose runs up and down so soft and slowly. I feel his warm breath hitting my ear making my breathe hitch.

"Per favore il mio tesoro" he lowly mumbled. I licked my lips as my heart sped up so fast I was scared it was going to jump out. My mind was clouded, I couldn't think straight. The words rolled off his tongue so smoothly.

Once my mind was back on track, I saw Paige was smirking at me. Huh I forgot she was here.

I managed to give a nod to Damien. He bit down my earlobe and returned back to his seat with that stupid smirk of his again and high fives Aaron. Ugh! He did not just manipulate me! I groaned and banged my naive head onto the desk, listening to Paige's horrid laugh.

Luckily Rase was able to come with us. We've been at the mall shopping instead of going to the arcade as planned. I got loads of books and another pair of black and red glasses since the ones at home are slowly starting to break. 

My eye sights are fine but a part of me feels complete whenever I wear my glasses.

"You guys wanna get something to eat before we head home?" Damien ask looking at his phone. I mirror his action and see that's it's after seven and I have hundreds of missed calls from dad but what really pissed me off is that my phone just died on me. 

I groaned loudly and put my head in my hands.

I wanna smash this phone.

"What happened?" Aaron's voice brought my head up and saw his arm damped around Rase's shoulder. I smiled at her.

"My phone just died" 

We all walked to McDonalds and ordered our meals. I scanned the place to find only one booth left. What a coincidence.

I sat down with Damien on my right and Cameron on my left. I watched him look down at Paige sending goofy eyes to each other making me want to barf. I mean come on! They just met today and now they act like their together. When she and I are alone I'll smack some sense into her.

I fake gaged as the other's chuckled at my action. We soon dug into our food while we all got to know each other more. Kane called out my name with a smug smile.

"Yes?"

"Have you ever thought about settling in with Damey boy over here?"
