Valentine special

So I decided to do something special since it is the month of love and since I have not made another book for rescue bots...yet! I will do this for now and hopefully gain an idea from this.

Which I have already, but need some more inspiration. Enjoy

Heatwave and Quickshadow chatted quietly in the corner about fighting techniques until a small boy ran into the room. Cody grinned madly as he looked at the two bots knowingly.

"What has you in such a mood?" Quickshadow asked and folded her arms, leaning against the wall. Heatwave looked at the young boy with his amber optics and tapped his digit along his arm.

"Valentine's day!" The boy shouted.

"Wha-who is Val eetine?" Heatwave asked as he slowly processed what he said.

"Valentine's Day is a holiday where you cherish the ones you care about most, friends and family. " Cody explained and grabbed a rose, giving it to Quickshadow.

"Gentleman," The agent femme complimented and held the small rose in her servo. Heatwave bent down to Cody's level. "So you humans just give those red plants to others you love and care about?" The fire bot summarized. "Sort of... it is a time where you can confess your feelings for people... or bots," The boy added.

"Like Quickshadow and you," Cody looked past Heatwave and saw the blue and white femme examining the rose. "What does that have to do with this?" He questioned, slightly annoyed. "Everything!" Cody threw his hands into the air.

"This event involves those that you most care about.. and you show that emotion by giving them gifts and telling them you love them?" Quickshadow asked.

Cody was about to say something until Dani and Graham came in with huge grins. "Happy Valentine's day!" They shouted in unison and gave The couple many more roses and a red heart shaped box. "This surely isn't Christmas," Quickshadow faltered as she looked at all the gifts in her servo.

"Where is Kade?" Heatwave asked, although he didn't seem very thrilled to ask. "Went on a date with Haily," Dani informed. "I will be going with Taylor... to hang out," Dani ran out the room and in came Blades and Boulder.

"We have been informed about this special event humans call "Valentine's Day"," Boulder joyfully said. He held a crystalline flower than gleamed in the light and the tips folded out like a glass rose. A golden leaf was attached to the stem and was in a bowl.

Quickshadow gasped at the sight of the alluring crystalline blossom. Boulder handed Dani the smallest one before she ran out and gave the special ops femme one. She held it close to her spark and the thought of Cybertron ran through her processor. "Where did you ever so find one of these on Earth!" She gasped.

"Made it with the help of Salvage... need to get to Doc Greene, I know Cece, Frankie, and Doctor Baranova would like one," Boulder smiled walked out.

"So what are you two going to do?" Cody question and smirked. "Probably just stay here," Heatwave spoke for the two of them. "I couldn't agree more. I rather remain here on this human event," Quickshadow added and rested against the wall. Cody rolled his eyes.

Quickfire had walked in and walked next to Cody. "Ready?" She questioned and transformed, kicking out her stand. Cody nodded and grabbed his helmet as he mounted the motorcycle. They drove out of the firehouse leaving Heatwave and Quickshadow alone.

The femme admired the flowers and set them on a nearby table. "Cybertron..." She muttered. "It has been a long amount of time since it was last in our view," She whispered and and looked at the far by wall. Heatwave sighed sadly and sat down on the floor.

His failure in speech had failed. He couldn't think straight with the though of their home world on their processor. The agent set a servo on his and sat down. He grabbed the crystalline rose and gave it to the femme. "Thank you Heatwave," She half smiled and looked at the flower in her servo.

"We couldn't do anything to save it," Heatwave slammed his fist on the hard cold ground. "We shouldn't pity the our home world... just work on restoring it to it's fullest," Quickshadow muttered and smiled slightly. She rubbed his shoulder plate and sat in the silence that followed.

"If Optimus's team can keep the cons from taking over the human's planet... why haven't they taken that chance?" Heatwave asked and looked at Quickshadow. She lowered her helm. "If those who oppose us Autobots... Rescue bots, they will not harm Cody or his family.. or any human to that matter," She said with a hopeful smile.

"As long as we stand here," She added and leaned into his arm. She sighed and looked at the far wall and the crystal rose that was still in her left servo. She kissed Heatwave's faceplate and placed the flower on her chest plate.

"This is a reminder of this day, the discussion we had just had," Quickshadow looked down. "Put this aside and continue on with out life about now?" She suggested. "Agreed," Heatwave muttered and held the femme's servo as they walked out of the firehouse.

They stopped midway to the door and looked into each other's optics. He nodded once and received a kiss before heading on. She leaned on his arm as they walked out. Quickshadow sighed and thought of Cody, the burns family... Griffin rock.
