Healing Is Just As Painful

"Ugh..." I groaned as woke up grasping my throbbing head.

As the sunlight filtered in from the morning sun, I sat up in bed, immediately regretting doing so. I felt pain in my increase as my leg flowed with pain as sharp as needles pricking the skin with the pain of every individual needle thumping in my leg. The pain subsided but returned with every move. Carefully, I crawled out of my bed. I noticed I had my nightgown on and that my left leg was bandaged. I tried to remember what had happened. I couldn't, although, the seering pain through my leg filled up every crack in my mind as I stumbled to stand up. I waved back and forth balancing on my right leg then falling onto the cold hardwood floor with a loud 'THUMP'. I heard footsteps and the door opened. My vision was slightly blurred and I didn't even try to shift my position on the ground. Soon I could feel someone picking me up with ease and setting me in bed. I squinted in the sunlight straining my eyes to try and recognize the figure before me. They sighed softly and left the room. Then, darkness over came me as dark black spots dotted out my vision completely, I had fallen asleep.

Again, more pain. My leg still throbbed, but less this time. My head still hurt like hell and my vision was still blurred slightly. I looked around the room the best I could but clearly not well enough. As I began to try to step of the bed and onto the floor to try and walk again, a small, high voice spoke up from the corner of the room.

"I wouldn't recommend that.." They said. I looked to that direction, not recognizing anything but the big blueberry looking blob who I expected was the source of the voice. Slightly startled I stepped off the bed and fell again. I picked myself up onto my hands and knees. My vision began to blur even more. I looked down at the ground from which I was facing, I began to go into a coughing fit. The person didn't even care and continued to watch me carefully. The coughing got worse as I began to cough up blood. After a bit I threw up. And then, I blacked out again.

"Ah finally awake..Again.." I looked over, whipping my eyes from sleep I was happy to find that my eye sight was perfectly fine again. I looked at the source of the voice who seemed to be a little boy of about twelve. Standing next to him was a tall man with eyes the color of wine. I looked about the room, yes this was my room. But...why don't I remember it?

"M-Might I a-a-ask who you a-are...?" I asked the pair slightly startled by my own frail voice.

"...Sebastian, mild case of amnesia, common after a coma, correct?"

"Yes, Milord. How would you like me to go about my actions?"

The two talked directly to each other yet niether of them took their eyes of me.

"Do whatever it takes to make her remember.."

"Yes, Milord."
