Justin's POV:

Madison looks so happy, I'm so happy. I'll finally settle on one girl, this is it. This is my future. She is my future.

All of a sudden, Selena appears out off the audience.

"Justin?!" She asks, tears in her eyes.

"Selena.. why are you here??!" I ask, getting mad.

"Madison invited me!" She spits, and I give Madison a look.

"Sorry! She showed up at our door with flowers and chocolate... what where my options?!" She asks, and I turn back to Selena.

"We've been done for 3 years now. What is it? We've both seen other people since then," I say, and she shrugs.

"Whenever I'm with someone else.. I think of you. I only think of you. How is Justin? Who is Justin with? Where is Justin? That's my thought process, so I at least wanted to get on better terms.. and maybe we would end up together, like we're supposed to be."

Saying that I feel bad is an understatement, but i'm engaged now.

"Selena, I'm supposed to be with Madison. I love her with everything inside of me, and your telling me that's going to go away because you show up? I... I can't express how much I love her, it would take forever to show my love, for that beautiful girl standing beside me. Listen, I'm engaged now. I can't go back and forth with you, Selena. You know I care about you, I love you, Selena, but not the way you want me too. You mean a lot to me," I say. She nods, and tears stream down her cheeks.

"I love you too," She whispers, kisses my cheek, and disapears in the crowd.

Madison's POV:

Happiness consumes me.

Not because Justin gave up Selena, but because he let go. He needed that. I know, Justin loves me, but I know he will always care about Selena because they've been through everything together. She was his first love, and she broke his heart countless times. He needed to say goodbye like that, and I'm really happy for him.

"Well baby, your mine forever," He says with a smirk, and I smile.

"I love you so much."

That night, we have everyone over to celebrate. I guess it's an engagement party, right?

Justin strung lights around his pool and hot tub. We filled the bar and brought out the stereo that's connected to multiple speakers scattered around the yard. We have ping pong (not beer bong, for the safety of everyone's lives) and we rented a big blowup water slide.

As everyone arrives, I see my mom and Dave.

"Justin, my mom. Really?!" I whisper-yell, and he gives me a look.

"She's your mother, Madison," he says, and he takes my hand and walks me over to her.

I hate her. I hate her so much.

It's been 4 months since I saw her at my birthday, and she's 6 months pregnant, which is odd because she's 40 something.

"Hello Dave, Ms. Mayor," Justin says with his charming smile.

"I can't believe your getting married to this scumbag. He was in jail, don't you learn, Madison?!"

I want to punch her. I want to punch her so bad.

"He flew you out from Canada, for free, and you have the nerve to tell me that he's a scumbag?! HE'S FORCED TO GROW UP IN FRONT OF THE WORLD, MOM! HE'S ONLY 20, DON'T YOU GET IT?! IT'S NOT EASY, AND I'M PRETTY SURE IF I WAS IN HIS POSITION I WOULD'VE KILLED MYSELF ALREADY. HE'S ONE OF THE STRONGEST PEOPLE IN THE WORLD! YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO SUPPORT ME!" I scream. Everyone stares.

"Madison, people are staring," she whispers.

"THAT'S ANOTHER REASON HE'S BETTER THAN BOTH OF US. YOUR SO CAUGHT UP IN EVERYONE'S OPINIONS. YOUR AFRAID TO DARE TO BE SOMETHING MORE THAN MAINSTREAM. JUSTIN WAS BULLIED FOR FOLLOWING HIS DREAM. DID HE STOP? NO. LOOK AT HIM NOW. HE'S NOT PERFECT, HE MADE MISTAKES, HE ALWAYS WILL. HE'S GOING TO BE YOUR SON-IN-LAW NOW. START TRUSTING HIM, TREATING HIM LIKE FAMILY, BECAUSE IF YOU DON'T, WELL.. YOU'RE NOT COMING TO MY WEDDING, BECAUSE YOU WON'T BE MY FAMILY IF YOU REFUSE TO BE HIS."

My mother steps back.

"I can't believe you," she spits.

"Madison, it's okay. She doesn't need to like me," Justin says, tightening his grip on my hand, but I shake my head.

"Take her off the guest list."

"You're going to regret it," he points out.

"Take her off!" I demand, and he nods and leaves to take her off.

"Hopefully your little sister will know you one day," my mom says, and they walk through the gate and to the car.

Sister? It's a girl?

Justin comes back.

"It's a girl," I say, staring at the gate.

"Your moms baby?" He asks.

"I'm going to have a little sister," I add.

Sean walks up behind us.

"What's going on?" He asks. He looks so much more mature. He's wearing a white button down collar shirt, jeans, and a tie. His hair is shorter and a girl is attached to his side.

"It's nothing. But Sean! It's so amazing seeing you again! Who's this?" I ask, as I hug him, and he kisses my cheek.

"This is Robin, she's my girlfriend," he says with a smile, and I hug her.

"It's so nice to meet you, I'm Madison," I say.

"Why don't you both go get to know each other, Sean and I will catch up," Justin suggests, and I nod. He throws his arm around Sean's shoulders, whispers something, and they crack up. I'm so glad they get along now.

"This party is lame, right?" She asks, and laughs a little.

"Yeah, I know. My mom kind of ruined it," I answer.

"Who's party is this anyway?" She asks.

"uh, Justin's and Mine," I say, and her jaw drops.

"I am so sorry! That was so rude of me," she says.

"No, it's really okay. I'm so glad your so honest, I would hate for you to sugar-coat it," I answer.

She kind of reminds me of Robin from How I Met Your Mother, my favorite show.

Justin's POV:

By the next morning, Sean and Robin were passed out on the couch, and Madison and I were in my bed. Lilly is in the guest room and Chaz and Ryan passed out on the counters, drunk.

Typical.
