Madison's POV:
*5 years later*
"JUSTIN! GET SHANNON'S BOTTLE WHILE YOUR UP THERE?" I call up, and he runs downstairs with a bottle as I hold the screaming baby. She's 3 months old, and all she does is cry. I mean, I see why. Matthew always runs around singing and playing pots and pans, and Justin loves it, but i'm not the biggest fan. Sophie, who's 3, just yells random words and laughs at herself, so our house is pretty noisy.
"Here you are, beautiful," Justin says, handing me the bottle, and I give it to the baby.
"SHE WON'T SHUT UP," I scream out of stress. I keep giving Shannon the bottle, but she keeps spitting it out and crying.
"Shhh, it's okay Mads, I'll take her," Justin says, and scoops the baby out of my arms and into his. He gently craddles her, and sings softly, and she's out like a light.
"You're magic," I say as I follow him into the nursery, were he puts her down in the crib.
He smiles and leans in to kiss me, but Matthew starts crying.
"SOPHIE PUSHED ME," He yells, and breaks out into sobs, I roll my eyes and we both run into the living room, to find Sophie staring, confused at Matthew as he cries. His knee is a little bloody. She must have pushed him into a sharp toy, and don't ask me why they are sharp because I don't know.
"I'll get Matt, you get Soph," Justin says, and I nod, and I go pick up Sophie and talk to her.
"Little man, you'll be fine. You're a strong little dude, ok? Lets get you a bandaid. Come on," Justin says, and picks up the 5 year old and carries him to the kitchen. He rests him on the counter, pulls up his pant, and puts a bandaid on the cut.
"All better!" He says with a smile, and Matt pouts.
"Give Sophie time out," he demands.
"Matt, Sophie is 3, she doesn't understand," I say, walking up to him.
"Sophie, say your sorry," I say, facing her towards Matt.
"I sorry Matty," she says, and he wipes away the tears.
"Say it's okay to your sister," Justin instructs.
"It's okay," Matt pouts and jumps from the counter, and runs upstairs to his room. I put Sophie down and look at Justin.
"No more kids," I say, and he laughs.
"Whatever you say, gorgeous," he says with a smile, and kisses me gently.
"But, I have to say, I make cute kids," Justin adds, and I give him a look.
"We make cute kids," I correct him, and he laughs and kisses me again, gently but deeply.
Ever since I was little, I've always wanted a forever, but I never really knew if I should believe in forevers. My father left my mom before I was born, and she always made him seem like the bad guy. I always thought, no one can have an epic love, because love doesn't last. I've never seen love last, so if I haven't seen it, it didn't happen. There's no proof. That's until Justin and I. Yeah, we fight, we yell, we cry, but after all of that we laugh, and kiss, and constantly remind each other about what love is, because that is love. I know, love is a big word, and it's a big thing to share with someone, but when you know it's the right person, it's the easiest thing to do. I guess I was just lucky enough to find my love.
I was lucky enough to find my forever.
