I was sitting in the Mandap where the priest was chanting prayers. He calls for the bride and the girls go to get her. They came down after 10-15 mins and she was nowhere to be found. Where is she? All of the family is tensed. Did she leave me, again?
Nav- she is nowhere to be found I checked the bathrooms and all the rooms.
Lakshami maa was crying and even mom was crying. How can she do this to our family? I stood up. Mom looked towards me and I could see her emotions. I went out and called the boys to help me look for her. Where are you Nandani? I looked at every single place. The Murthy mansion, space, the park. Oh wait!!! I forgot to look at one place. I rushed to my car and drove as fast as I could. When I reached there, it was same as it was before. The pani Puri stand was still there. It was nearly sunset.I was going near the waves. When I saw a familiar figure. The person I was looking for the past hours. She was sitting by the water, watching the sunset with her gorgeous lehenga. I went near her and sat down next to her. She was surprised.
Nan- what are you doing here?
Man- trying to find you
Nan- why? You should be happy that this shaddi is not happening
I looked towards her. She was right. Why I am not happy when she is giving me what I wanted for these months.
Man- Idk, all I know is that you shouldn't have left
Nan- why?
Man- because it was our wedding goddammit
Nan- manik, you can't shout on me for doing what you wanted? You wanted this? You didn't want to marry me. I can't force you to marry me.
Man- let's go everyone is waiting for us
Nan- I am not going back
Man- why?
Nan- because I don't want to marry you
Man- well you are the one who said yes to this marriage
Nan- yes, it was my decision before I thought about what you wanted
Then I realized that this is what I wanted but I was not confessing it. I always loved her even when I was tricked by Soha. I always loved her. And I still love ❤️ her as much as I loved her before. We were destined to be together. We met in a huge city as New York where millions of people live.
Man- well would you come if I say I want to marry you
Nan- see you don't want....wait what?
Man- come
I took her to the pani Puri stall
Man- do you remember the time we had pani Puri here. It was the most fun I had in years. You are the reason for that
I pulled her in my car and took her to the place.
Man- this is the place where we had our first date. It was my first date ever. You were my first date.
Then I took her to another  place.
Man- space, this is where I saw you for the first time. We had a fight. You were the only person who could go against me.
I took her back to the beach. All this time she was quiet. When we reached. We sat on the sand.
Man- so after this do you think I could marry someone else.
Nan- then why did you tell me that you didn't want to marry me
Man- I guess that I just realized that how much I need you in my life.
She hugged me so tight that I fell on the sand. I hugged her back. This felt amazing. It felt I like I was protecting her from the evil world.
Nan- isn't our story like a big blockbuster movie
Man- yes, but senorita picture abhi baki hai
Nandani laughed so hard.
Nan- did you just mix two of the shah rukh khan dialogues
Man- bade desho main asi choti batein hoti rehti hai
She laughed again. Her laugh gives so much peace.
Nan- why did we have to fall apart
Man- so we could get back together. Do you remember the time we came here and I told you something.
Nan- yeah.
Manan- sun is like our life. After every sunset comes a sunrise. Similarly, after every bad phase of your life comes a phase of new hope.
Man- So we have gone through the bad phase,now we will be going into the phase of happiness.
We stayed there for a long time. Then I relieved that we should be going to our wedding.
Man- Nandani
Nan- hmmmm
Man- we should be going. Everyone must be waiting for us.
Nan- can't we just stay like this. Where there is no evil and just us
Man- it will be just us after the wedding to be mrs. Malhotra. Aur waise Bhi hum ek bar jeete hai, ek baar marte hai, shadi Bhi ek baar hoti hai aur pyaar Bhi...
I came closer to her ear and I could feel her breathing fastly like it was the first time I came close to her
Man-  ek baar hota hai 
She blushed.
Nan- lets go
We reached to our car and we drove back. Everyone was waiting for us.
Nyo- where were you Nandani beta? We were so worried
Lakshami maa came and hugged her.
Lak- you should of told us
Nan- sorry mama
Lak- it's okay but can we do the wedding
Someone- no!!!
