Steve Rogers x Reader - Amusement Park

You're practically bouncing in the passenger seat as Steve drives you both to an amusement park.

It was your idea. He had never been to one before now and he was curious to see what it was all about. Plus he couldn't say no when you asked.

You pull into the parking lot and it's strangely empty. You two walk up to the entrance only to be greeted by Tony.

"What are you doing here Tony?" You ask curiously.

"I may or may not have spied on you and Steve and I decided to rent out the entire park for the day. No more waiting in long lines or being bombarded by fans."

You rock back and forth on your heels, filled with glee to the brim.

"Come on! What are we waiting for?" You squeal as you drag Steve in.

He looks back at Tony and glares at him. Tony just gives a cheeky grin and waves. "You'll thank me later." He mouths.

You know the park like the back of your hand. Finding your favorite ride was no problem.

It stands tall, unmoving in the slight breeze. It's silver paint shines in the sky.

You run straight to the front and hop in the front seat with Steve not to far behind.

"You ready?" You question him as the robotic voice tells you to keep your limbs inside the cart at all times.

"Uh, I think so.." he responds as he buckles himself and you into the seat. The metal bars come down over your head, securing you in tightly.

The carts jolt forward and you're smiling from ear to ear.

Steve glances over at you and gives a small smile.

You grab his hand as the carts move forward up the hill. You raise your intertwined hands up as you descend downward.

Steve's grip on your hand tightens and he closes his eyes. You laugh but it's lost to the sounds of the roaring wind in your face.

The ride ends after two loops and a few corkscrews along with a couple of hills and sharp turns.

Steve gets out, his hand never leaving yours.

"So? What'd you think?" You ask excitedly.

"I think that you had fun and that's all that matters."

"Awww, your gonna make me blush!" You giggle as you motion for him to lean down some. You stand on your tippy toes and give him a kiss on the cheek.

He smiles down at you fondly and brushes some of your hair out of your face.

The rest of the day was filled with lots of fun and cute moments. Little did you know that Tony had been recording the entire day, looking for potential black mail.
