Seven boys all stood in the living room of a small blue house. Bags at their feet, and awkward smiles on their faces. A particularly small one leaned forward to glance at the rest of the boys, searching for a familiar face, but to his discomfort didn't find one. He sighed and stood straight, looking blankly at the counselor in front of them.
"Hello. You can all just call me Counselor-Nim. My name is of no importance to you, so it is unnecessary to tell it. Your parent's have all told you that you'll be at a fun camp and will be home in a week. To your surprise, that is most definitely not the case. You're all here because your parents didn't like that you were gay. During your stay at the gay house, we plan to care for you and give you the help you all need. Believe me when I say you will walk out of here all cured men." Counselor-nim explained to them
One with abnormally broad shoulders had locked hands with another as he raised his free hand. Counselor-nim smiled at the boy, but frowned seeing his fingers intertwined with another one of the seven. The boy took notice, and quickly pulled away, bowing as an apology.
"I can't be here. You see, there is so much I didn't pack. And I have an appointment with my hair dresser on thursday morning at nine because I wanted to get my roots touched up. This really must be a misunderstanding. My parents adore Joonie and I as a couple."
With a roll of the eyes and a twist on his heels, counselor-nim began to walk away, not bothering to answer the boy. He turned into the kitchen and left the boys standing there awkwardly. They all exchanged looks before walking over to where the weird man went.
"I'm making you lunch. Sit at the dining table and we'll eat. We'll discuss everything after You have full stomachs. And by discuss I mean, share names and figure out rooming. There will be no talk of being here by accident, all of that will be dismissed immediately and you will be isolated from the rest of the group. Now, do you boys like Spicy food?"
