kimtaehyung: who are you??

????: idk some guy from your bio class that wants to talk to you because maybe im kinda interested in you um um yeah???

kimtaehyung: what

????: basically im a guy from your bio class & i kinda like you lol

kimtaehyung: oh um

kimtaehyung: im not rlly sure how to reply

kimtaehyung: i don't know you so i can't really say i feel the same way

????: that's the thing, taehyungie. i don't want you to know who i am.

kimtaehyung: um

kimtaehyung: ok

????: can i say something?

kimtaehyung: sure

????: you're beautiful.

kimtaehyung: im rlly not

????: yes you are. now please, smile for me, taehyungie.

????: i haven't seen you smile in so long. what happened to that pretty smile of yours? R 12:30am

????: hello? R 12:35am

????: taehyung please reply R 12:45 am

kimtaehyung: sorry i had to finish up the chicken i was cooking

????: haha, you're so cute. why are you cooking chicken this early in the morning?

kimtaehyung: i got hungry

????: :)

kimtaehyung: ?

????: sorry, i just got distracted because you're so cute

kimtaehyung: oh

????: anyway, going back, why haven't you smiled in a while?

kimtaehyung: im not rlly comfortable telling you because i don't know you

????: i told you, im someone from your bio class. you can trust me.

kimtaehyung: .. im sorry but i really cant

????: if i tell you who i am, will you tell me?

kimtaehyung: maybe

????: alright. please come outside and i'll be out there in a bit

mystery boy revealed himself. taehyung was a little surprised as he never talked to him before, yet this boy was so interested in him. he let him in his room, and they conversed about why taehyung hasn't smiled in a long time.

"now will you tell me?"

"i guess. please listen to me?"

"i will,"

"it was in summer 2016, when i lost the love of my life. it was such a bright and sunny day, i thought all was well. but then, a bunch of men came into our beach house and took him away. i asked them to stop, but they wouldn't. i tried to fight them, but they were too big. i could see the face of fear written all over his face as they dragged him away. my eyes were filled with tears.

the men told me his father owed a huge amount of money to the person they worked for, but wasn't able to pay it back. therefore, they took his and his father's life. they knelt him down on the sand of the beach, his face facing mine. i was held back as i tried to run to him, and a man positioned behind him with a gun pointed to his head.

and just like that, he was gone. right before my eyes. the love of my life, gone in just a second,"

"im so sorry i had to ask. i was just so concerned for you,"

"it's fine,"

"please don't cry. i don't want you to cry. i want you to smile,"

"but how can i smile?"

"smile because i love you,"

"i barely know you,"

"yes, but i want you to smile,"

"i can't smile right now,"

"then i'll do my very best to make you smile again, and forever. but i can only do that on one condition,"

"and what's that?"

"please be mine?"

taehyung's eyes widened as he looked straight into his eyes. he was dead serious about this, and he wasn't kidding.

he didn't know what to say.

was he over his boyfriend's death yet?

he shifted in his seat, taking in a deep breathe. maybe this was for the best. after all, it's what he would want. he would want taehyung to move on and live happily with someone else.

"okay, jeongguk. i'll be yours," taehyung sighed, looking down at his lap. he could feel that jeongguk had a wide smile on his face as a pair of arms came to embrace him.

jeongguk gently ran his hands through taehyung's hair. "very good. i'll make you smile so much, taehyung. i promise you'll never stop smiling,"

"dad, can i ask for a favour?"

"what is it?"

"can you have your spies kill jung hoseok?"

"why?"

"i want him dead. i also want his boyfriend,"

"anything for you, jeonggukie,"

taehyung was dating the man that killed the love of his life, jung hoseok.
