I saw the dog that lives across the street. He was a big black dog with a chain collar. He was barking loudly and aggressively. My owner was pulling me up the street away from home. I looked back and saw a man come out of the house with the black dog. They walked the opposite way. I hear the dogs's owner yell "come on Dakota!"
The mysterious dog across the streets name is Dakota. Dakota is a beautiful big dog. He even has a chain collar. But I wonder where they are going, Dakota and his owner. Me and my owner Michelle turn down Wall Street and turn into a park. A dog park. Michelle leans down and unclips my leash. She pushes me toward the other dogs. I see Dakota the dog who lives across the street.Dakota's point of view!!!
I look around for a place to relax and to sleep. Finally I see a perfect spot! I walk over slowly with a small pup glaring at me from a distance. I lay down under a red maple tree and begin to sleep. I wake up and the little pup is in my face. The pup runs around me as I get up. I say "Hi I'm Dakota" nicely as I can.
To my surprise the pup answers back "Hi am Rosie I live across the street from you!" The pup says gleefully.
"You do?!" I say alarmed
"Yeah I trying to find my mommy." Rosie says as she sits next to me.
"What?!" I yell
This is my pup. We had pups together and I never knew. But where is she now? Only the pup will know.
"Well what happened?" I ask
There was a slight pause. Then she spoke. "Michelle my owner said something like she was sick... Whatever that means, and she passed away. But where is she?"
"Kid your Mommy is dead which also means she passed away." I exclaim.
The pup lays down and I hear a sniffle.
I look down at her and see a tear coming from her eye.
"Hey a squirrel!" I say loud enough for the pup to hear.
