PEEKING THROUGH the window of my car, I see those friends of her finally leaving.

I park across the hedge of trees which is little distant away from her house, with this lamp post that is flicking on and off. It definitely reminds me of the killings in my book that I have been reading.

"Now, I'm thinking what will I do to you. . ." I say, staring upon her residence.

When she finally all alone, I hop down on my car, covering my head into my hoodie. My lips have automatically twitched upward as I begin walking towards her place.

The night sends crisp air that pinches my cheek whenever I move, and the sound of the village is a deafening silence that actually making every fiber of my skin tremble in pleasure. However, there's one thing that draws my attention, there's a neighbor over there who seems having a conversation through phone.

I need to be careful.

Standing on the doorstep, I press the doorbell repeatedly.

"Wait! I'm coming!" says the voice beyond the door.

". . . yea, that's right, open this fucking door."

As it finally creaks open, I see pair of foot standing under the frame of the door. And when I lift my head towards, Alleli's eyes grow wider, with her movements seem blocked.

"Hi, honey. . ." I approach, grinning at her. "Miss me?"

"J-Jared?" she whispers. "W-What are you doing here?"

I glance at the guy who's still busy then chuckles have emitted from my throat, feeling my own eyes stretching. "Just wanna tell you, goodnight. . ." I then pull a knife from my pocket, and when she notice it, Alleli tries to shut the door close but I clog it through my body.

As I enter her house, she sprints throughout the living room, but it is so useless because I grab a flower vase on the side and throw it against her back that makes her stumble to the floor, with those shattered pieces.

Alleli groans as she fell on her stomach. She tempts to lift her body up, but I tug her shoulder for her to turn around towards me.

"Help me!" she screams, "please! Somebody—"

I strike her through my open hand, and she squeals as she closes her eyes, struggling from my weight.

"Shut up!" I say, covering her mouth through my palm over. Alleli starts whimpering, prying herself off me."Stop fighting okay? It's done."

She shakes her head, her chest heaves up and down as she shrills in my hand. Until someone knocks on her door.

I quickly look over my shoulder, and she keeps trying to make a noise, and I keep muffling it too.

"Shut it!" I hiss, yanking her up to find some place where I can hide her for a moment. This intruder is trying to ruin my plans.

I clutch her nape—with my hand still on her mouth— closer to my face. "One more noise, Ms. Vargas, I will kill you right here right now."

The fist against the door becomes louder and I can't help it anymore. I grit my teeth, and glare at her. "Sshh. . ."

I position my knife, and slash her flesh to avoid running; her screams stifle in my grip, making me to  grin as the crimson blood soaks her pants. Then, I hide her beyond the sofa.

Putting the weapon behind my back, I walk normally at the door and when I open it, a guy— whom I saw awhile ago— appears in front of me, barely frowning.

"Hey, what do you want?" I ask.

"I heard some noise in here," he says. "By the way who are you?"
