THE AIR IN my lungs becomes like a stone which is so hard to release as if it clogs my throat. I feel the whole universe stop around me when I notice that the red liquid that spills and stains on my windshield is no other than blood.

"Shit," I mutter.

My eyes roam at every corners of this dark area, looking for Olivia but she's nowhere to be found

"Olivia!" I call.

Bursting the car door open, I quickly run forward only to see her lying on the ground. . . The burning sensation invades my whole body, and my heart starts screaming; it's so loud and unstoppable.

"O—Olivia?" I whisper when I fall to my own knees, feeling my eyes widening. I furrow as I gaze upon this woman who is barely shaking, spitting lots of blood through her mouth. Olivia is bleeding so bad that she's unable to move an inch. I don't want to believe. . . this isn't happening.

Crawling toward her, I've seen her now so clearly and it actually melts my heart when I see this red liquid coats her beautiful face with a huge and deep crack on the side of her head.

I gasp. "Jesus!"

The ground where she lays is filled of her own crimson blood, soaking her whole body and clothes. I dare to  hold her, and when my fingers touch her body, she releases a loud and painful groan, blends with cries.

". . . Olivia, Love, I'm so sorry! Oh god!" I say when I carefully rest her slumped body in my arms.

"J. . . Jared. . ." she calls despite of her hard breathing. "H—Hospital. . ."

I've seen tears already streaming down her temples. She then slides her hand on her stomach and begins to sob.

My eyes have surrendered either; and just like what she is doing, I start crying for her harrowing condition. My emotions finally escape my eyes as my heart grieves. I can't even move an inch, I almost forgot breathing finely by just looking at her.

"B. . .Bring . . . me. . . I can't . . ." Olivia chokes in her own tears, and on the blood that keeps on flowing from her mouth; the hollow on her head gushes a large amount of blood, with flesh dispersed around.

Words are hard for me to release. My tongue shrinks back, and becomes numb; if there's a sound that can be heard, it is no other than my sob and hard breathings.

"Ah!" Olivia screams, heaving her arm up to place it on the damaged part of her head. The horrible tone from her makes my heart thump even more— so loud— that sends chills down my spine.

This woman who means everything to me is dying in my hands, and I can't do anything to ease her pains.

"I—I'll bring you inside. . ." I whisper when I get back up, and walk upward the sloping ground.

Yes, I can't. . I cannot bring her to the Hospital. . . if I did, I would be faraway from her. I'd be sent in jail, and my right to be by her side would be taken away from me.

It's too late.

As we finally enter our room, I carefully lay her on the bed.

Sitting beside her, I notice Olivia how she looks at me; she barely breathes not even blinking. The tears continuously flow from her eyes, and this  foamy-like thing shrouds around them. Because of that, I immediately go into the bathroom and grab a facetowel, then soaking it in the water to wipe away her blood throughout her face.

Olivia has been groaning whenever I'm touching her as if all the bones in her body have broken into pieces.

"I—I love you, Olivia," I cry when I gently dab this towel onto her bloody face. "D—Don't leave me."
