I ran, and ran, and ran until I ended up in front of my cousin's house.
My cousin, Haley, was currently 22 years old and living on her own. She's super pretty, and nice, and she has a boyfriend.
I knock on the door and wait for someone to open it.
Dang it; I thought.
I forgot my phone at school!
So now if she doesn't answer the door, I have to wait out here for her!
I hear a door creaking and I turn around to see Haley at the door. I run up to her and give her a big bear hug.
"What are you doing here Sum, you're supposed to be at school!" She asks, concern in her voice.
"Oh right, about that...I sort of ran away..." I giggle nervously. Her eyes widen and she pulls me into the house, shutting the door behind us.
"Okay, now tell me what happened." She says. I explain to her everything that happened, from me thinking Tomika was a show off to me sabotaging her and Tomika crying.
"And now I'm here." I finish. Her face shows no expression. No happiness, no sadness, and no anger.
"I think you need to apologize, but what you did was also good for you. Now people know you actually have talent, but remember every action you take will affect others as well." She smiles at the end.
She always gives out the best advice, that's why she's my number one cousin and I am her's too. Well, hopefully..
"Thanks Haley. And your right, but can I just stay her for now? I really don't want to deal with this." I ask. She nods her head and gets out her seat, heading towards the kitchen.
"You can stay here, but I need to tell your parents. Don't worry, I'll come up with a excuse or something." She says. This is why she's the best cousin ever! Although I doubt my parents will answer as there always busy with work.
Freddy's POV
"Where can she be? We looked all around the school!" I shouted. Summer never came back when she stormed off and now the whole gang is looking for her.
"Don't worry, Freddy. She's here somewhere." Tomika says. Oh right, Tomika is helping too. She said that she was too hard on Summer and wants to help.
"Yeah, don't worry. Maybe she's home, we can go check there." Zack says, agreeing with Tomika.
Of course you agree with Tomika. She's your crush after all......
"Okay, you guys tell Mr. Finn and I'll meet you at her house, okay? See ya there." I said and sprinted out the door.
Summer's house is really big. Sorry let me rephrase that: She lives in a mansion.
I ring the doorbell and I can here the "ding dong" sound going throughout the house. The maid opens the door and smiles at me.
"Oh, uh hey...is Summer her or at least her parents?" I ask looking over her shoulder, trying to see if Summer was there.
"No, Summer isn't here. She's supposed to be at school and so are you. But, the answer to your other question is yes, but only Mrs. Hathaway." She says.
Oh shoot, I forgot! I'm supposed to be in school! Oh well, make up an excuse Freddy!
"Oh, well can you call Mrs. Hathaway that I'm here and that this is important?" I ask. She nods her head and lets me in.
I wait in the big living room, admiring all the pictures of Summer.
Woah, I didn't know Summer was into gymnastics!
"Freddy, what are you doing here?" A woman's voice said. I turn around and see Mrs. Hathaway.
"Oh, well Summer is missing and I came here to see if she came home, but I guess not." I say. Her eyes widen and then she laughs.
"Haha, very funny Freddy. Summer is in school getting good grades and being the good girl she is." She laughs. I tilt my head in confusion.
"No, she got in a argument with someone and stormed off. Ever since then
she didn't come back and we looked all over the school." I explain.
I see her eyes widen and a tear came down her cheek, but she shook it off.
Her phone rang and she answered it.
"Summer is okay." She said.
That's a relief, I wouldn't know what I would do without Summer, I think I would've died. Summer is my everything, her smile always makes my day and her laugh always cheers me up.
And then it hits me.
I love Summer Hathaway.
