Keylie's POV
Ugh, uncle put me in my room again. My dad is off at training and told uncle to watch me. I'm 15 and don't need a babysitter. All I did was put a stink bomb in the vents. Closing mine of course. He told me to grow up. Jeez all it was, was a little prank. Just a bit of fun. I sat there for a new record of 5 minutes. Then it was escape time. I knew that my door wasn't locked. But it was definitely grounded. I could teleport but that's boring, and an easy way out. I've never been good at climbing out my window so I will rely on trickery. I tossed a sheet that was tied to the bed, out the window. Then I dropped a glass on the ground. It crashed and made a loud noise. I slid under my bed just as the door opened. Feet walked near my window and they muttered. I caught words like "that blasted girl" "thor's not going to be happy" and a few other words. Then they ran. After I knew that they were gone. I got up and left. Haha jokes on you Thor. Never underestimate me again.
I walked around until I bumped into someone. Oh please let it not be Thor. "Going somewhere?" I looked up " I sighed "Dad" he chuckled. "Expecting someone else?" I kicked the ground. " I kinda put a stink bomb in the vents." He frowned " did you close your vent?" I smirked "of course." He smiled "that's my girl"
" now I have some news. I have to go down to Midgaurd for a while, and your going to stay here."
"WHAT! why can't I go?"
"Cause you can't. That's why."
"Mom would have let me go"
I dragged my toe across the ground. "I didn't mean to bring mom up"
He sighed "it's been 10 years since she died. And I know you miss her a lot."
I tried to change the subject
"when do you leave?"
"As soon as I find someone to watch you". He walked away and I muttered
"Good luck with that."
