"Wait, wait a minute take a step back.
you gotta think twice before you react.
so stay, stay a little while.
because a promise not kept is the road to exile."

-Anakin-

Arkeah kept pushing farther and farther into my head, causing the agonizing pain to spread through my entire body. I could feel my body shaking and clanking on the table and slowly felt the light slip from my eyes. Just as I was slowly losing consciousness, I heard Arkeah whisper "They're alive Anakin, they're alive."

-Arkeah-

Anakin lost consciousness after a few short minutes, and I felt slightly remorseful for pushing him to this point, but it had to be done. I needed to know about his life with Padme, and about his child. I could see his child, a beautiful, young girl, of course she'd be beautiful, she was Anakins child. She was currently being raised up by a senator and a queen on Alderaan. She would live a lavish lifestyle, without Anakin, and without any knowledge of her mother. She would be graceful, and a complete and fear-striking ruler. I could already tell.

About 2 hours later, Anakin regained consciousness, and asked about this child. I explained to him that I had seen her, and that she was not to be thought of.

"Lady Arkeah" , Anakin spoke, breaking me out of my thoughts.

"Yes Anakin, What do you need?" I was slightly tired of Anakin, but I was going to be nice.

"I was wondering if you would come train with me since you are my master, and I could greatly use your help."

Was he serious? Did he think he was good enough to train with me? Yes, I know I'm his master, and that he is my apprentice, but still. I am far above his ranks, but I will do it anyway.

"Yes Anakin, but do not get discouraged if I surpass you in your own training. I am above your ranks."

"Yes, Lady Arkeah, I know that. Thank you, am I dismissed?"

"Yes, Anakin. You are."

He walked out of the room, slightly more happy than when he entered. I was quite satisfied that I had this effect on Anakin, as I never had a relationship quite like this one, even though it was a simple teacher and student relationship. I enjoyed having a friend, or someone who I felt knew me like I was his friend. I wanted a friend, I always had.

The hour finally came when I was supposed to train with Anakin. I glided my way down the many flights of stairs into the train room. Anakin was already there, setting up his favorite training equipment. I noticed he had prepared the wooden sabers, metal lifting rods, and over in the corner, lie two lightsabers, presumably his, and one he had selected for me.

I smoothly walked across the floor, going up to Anakin's back. I lightly tapped him on his shoulder, left to be specific. He jumped lightly, and spun around, swinging his hands, but with no fist. I quickly grabbed his hand, bending to towards his elbow.

"Relax Anakin, it's just me."

"I-I'm sorry Lady Arekah, I thought you were someone trying to get me, I guess I'm just a little bit paranoid."

"It's okay, Anakin. Let's get started."

I slid my robe off my shoulders, and hung it on the racks. Its coppery hem line barely grazed the floor, and the color continuously reminds me of Anakins curly hair, that just as same grazes his broad shoulders.

I quickly shook myself out of my thoughts, and turned around to face Anakin. He had one hand on a wooden saber, holding it close to his body. His other hand was extended towards me, offering me one of the training tools. I grabbed the saber from him, and paced three steps back, him doing the same. He bowed over, showing respect, and then standing straight up again.

I began swinging towards him, going as hard as I could, as fast as I could. He reacted quite well, for his current raining ranks. I kept going until he wound up on the ground, raising his hands in surrender.

"Let's move onto the real saber Anakin, I'm looking forward to that." I said.

Dropping the wooden saber on the ground, he got up, dusting off his leather pants, and walking over to lightsabers. He picked them up, and brought one over to me, offering it to me once again from his outstretched hand.

I took the saber, cautiously noticing the way that his fingertips lightly grazed mine, and mine against his. His calloused hands were soft, but only on his fingertips, and maybe in the center of his palm. I admired his hands, with the few seconds I had, then looked away.

I struck the button, causing the lightsaber to become ignited. It shone a brilliant red, illuminating a sinister shadow all over my face. Anakin ignited his, shining a crystal blue, making his eyes even more beautiful than they already are, even with the contrasting blue shadow.

He swung first, attempting to strike my legs. I flipped into the air, dodging his swing. I began to come at him, raising th saber above my head, while using my elbows to guard my face. Just as I was going to strike Anakins saber, I felt the familiar pain of the saber on my flesh. I felt the searing heat skirt down my face, across my eye. It was a light graze, but it hurt the same. I dropped myself to the floor, allowing myself to start sobbing, out of my non-scorched eye. the saltiness from my tears stung at my wound, almost like they were an army, charging across a battlefield, towards an already injured warrior.

I could hear Anakins voice, screaming in my ear, trying to console me. I wasn't listening, I was too busy trying to stop myself from sobbing. I hated the fact that I was rejecting Anakin, because I want his arms around me more than anything. I did, since he was the on who caused this in the first place.

"Anakin, leave me alone! Please!" I shouted, my voice getting shaky as I screamed.

"No, I will not leave you alone. You need me Arkeah."

After more arguing, he scooped me up in his arms, and carried me to the medial bay. It was a short walk from our training room to the bay, so I didn't lose too much blood from the wound. The nurse later told me that I would not need surgery, but that the cut would leave a nasty scar. I could handle a scar, since I wore robes most of the time anyways.

"Lady Arkeah, I am very, very sorry. I understand if you want to choose another apprentice, but please, I am very sorry."  Anakin finally spoke, waking me up from my light sleep.

Before I could respond to his cordial apology, he had stood and walked out of the small, grey brick room.

(A/N : hi guys! I'm back, and have lots of ideas for this story! I'm thinking about doing a character chapter, so you get Arkeahs backstory and family history. Idk if that's a good idea but I know some people have wanted that so I thought I'd mention it. 🤙🏼🤙🏼 (also, the picture is of Arkeah after Anakin cut her.)
