Last year Orlando was hit with multiple tragedies, including the shooting death of young singer Christina Grimmie. She died after being shot four times but that is not how she should be remembered. She was a talented artist with an amazing singing voice and fans from the regular day to day people to celebrities like Dove Cameron, whose twitter feed during that sad time was chocked full of moments with or about the deceased twenty-two year old. I never knew about her when she was alive. But all the love and support that poured out online, especially twitter, showed me a young woman taken way too soon. One who took life by the horns only to be struck down by an evil not even the authorities fully understand. That's when I decided to dedicate my fan novel to her.
So this is for you Christina. A good young woman who went away so young but will be forever remembered as a wonderful person and singer. We will not let evil win no matter the cost. The consequences are just too dire. Always fight for good to protect the innocent.
