Clara's POV:

The trip to my house is a complete silence. None of us talked and I didn't have any topics to fill out.

I just played with my dingera and stay quiet.

"Hey, that's my house! You can drop me here, now."

He nod and parks the car underneath a tree.

I opened the door and walked out of the car.

He also walked out of the car.

"Ah, no need for you to come in. They'll make a fuss about it." I said. I really don't want to get him in trouble because of me.

"You sure you can handle it on your own?" He asked.

"Of course, I handle them everyday." I said and put some cheerful tone on my voice.

"Okay then. So, this is a goodbye then?" He asked.

"It's not always a goodbye, maybe fate can make us meet one day, angel." I squeak. The picture of never going to see Angel again makes me sad.

"Sure, you go in then."

"Yeah." I turn back and walk to the house. I felt cold. My hands and feet are shaking.

I'm scared. I had imagine all sorts of bad thing that was going to happen to me when I open that door.

I just have to be strong.

I braced myself and turn the door knob.

Edgar's POV:

I just stood there standing. Clara has entered her house, and I feel something bad is going to happen to her.

From the window I can see both her stepsisters and her stepmother running to the room.

I heard some yelling and screaming.

"What are you doing?!!"

"You are supposed to bw back at eight! You haven't make us dinner!"

"Yeah, and what are you even doing with that man? You are an embarassment in front of him. What are you thinking?!"

Then I heard a loud slap.

I turn my head a little.I can't bear to see it.

"Now go make us dinner! And after that wash the dishes and our clothes!"

There was a loud silence.

"Do you hear me?! Work NOW!!"

Then I see her younger stepsister tweaked her ears harshly.

"Owww, th...that....hu...hh..hurts...sister."
She sobbed. I tried to hold myself not to break in and make some trouble with them.

I see them walked away and vanished through the doors.

I felt awful to Clara. Was she living like this the whole time?

She's a very sweet girl with big eyes and a voice that every man would'nt able to resist.

I walk back to my car and enter with a loud thump and steer back home.

"Young master, you're back."

I smiled at my favorite assistant, Bernard.

"Good to see you Bernard." I smiled and pat him in the back.

"Ah, master, why did you come back so late at night? Master Hendrick is waiting for you at your room." He informed me.

"Yes, thank you Berns."

I throw my car key to him and walked into my house. It's quite big for a house with just two people inside. That's why daddy always invited my grandfather to visit, so the house wouldn't be really quiet.

I ran a flight of stairsbup to my bedroom. As Bernard was saying, my father is already waiting for me in my bedroom.

"I've been waiting for you son. What took you so long?" He asked me. His rough hands rumagging through my DVD collection while the other is holding a cup of coffee.

"Nah, just doing some errands." I said, try to look relaxed.

"Doing a few errands, huh?" He looked at me suspiciously.

"Quite." I answered.

"You know, I've been thinking a lot son." He said, his strong jaws are getting tighter, and his expression becomes serious.

"Thinking about what, Dad?"
I asked. You know, I got the feeling that this conversation will be a long one.

"As you know, my heir is only you, my only son. I'm thinking I should start to teach you the business world." He said.

"So?" I'm really confused. He's been telling me that the past few days.

"I'm going to have to enter you to Wildlake high school."
He announced.

"What?!" I am so shocked with my father's announcement.

"You've been homeschooled for a very long time son. I guess you should start seeing the outside world, make friends."

I just look at him stupidly. That's right, i've been homeschooled for the past 2 years. But I never bother.

"You've been keeping your heart to yourself for the longest if time son. I know you're sad and all on your mother's death, believe me, I feel it too. But, I think it's time for us to move on don't you think?" He tried to make me understand.

I just nodded. "Well, if that's what you feel best for me, then I will accept it."

"Bravo, son! And then, to the next surprise."

"Wait, there's more?" I asked.

He smiled to me and clapped his hands.

"Come on out Sylvia, you would'nt want to miss this part." He shouted.

A really tall girl with a perfectly body shape enters the room with a really wide red dress and smiled at Dad.

"Uh, Dad? Who's this?" I asked again, even more confused.

"Presenting, your newest fiancè, Sylvia Roberton." He exclaimed.

The girl bowed and smile at
