"Daddy Direction." Sequel

Chapter 17

Niall's POV 

A week later and I'm finally celebrating my birthday. I don't mind though Emma needs time to bond with Isobel and Jenna as does Josh and Emma hasn't been feeling well. We decided a meal out to Nando's would be the best move for my birthday seeing as I LOVE Nandos. Me, Jess and Jacob are already there along with Lou, El, Oscar and Sophia. 

"Ni, I hope you realise that you've been blessed." I tore my eyes away from the door and turned to Louis. 

"Meaning?" 

"Having Jenna and Isobel being born on your birthday." I nodded and smiled. It was a blessing and I was highly greatful. I now have someone to share my birthday with. We eventually got joined by the Payne's, Malik's and Styles'. The Nandos staff were having a field day, Never has the whole and I mean the whole of the 1D family been in Nandos at once. It was amazing. Now we were just waiting on Em, Josh and the twins. 

Emma's POV 

We're going to Nandos today to celebrate Niall's birthday because well my troublesum twins decided to send me into labour. I can't help but feel bad. My uncle didn't celebrate his birthday on his birthday because of me. 

"Josh, would you get out of bed. We're late as it is and we need to get the twins dressed." Josh groaned before slowly getting up. I left our room and walked into the twins nursery. They were both sleeping like angels. I hate waking them up because they become really grumpy and they don't settle for about half an hour, put it this way the twins don't seem to like Josh very much. You'll get the odd day when they will settle with him but it's very rare. Mummy's girls. I picked up Jenna and took her over to the changing table. I changed Jenna into a brown and pink jumpsuit and put on a pair of mittens on her hands to prevent her scratching herself. I laid a pink fluffy blanket on the floor and placed Jenna gently on it before changing Isobel into the same and put her with her sister. TWITTER MOMENT RIGHT THERE. I pulled out my phone and snapped a picture of my babies.

I put my phone away and smiled. They are so adorable. They look nothing like me whatsoever. They look like Josh. The only thing the inherited from me is my hair colour. They have everything else from Josh including his lazyness to sleep. 

"Josh? Can you come get Isobel or Jenna. Take your pick." Josh appeared in the doorway of the nursery dressed incredibly smartly. This is a first for Josh. I picked up Isobel as Josh picked up Jenna. I grabbed the changing bag and the bag with Uncle Niall's present in it and left the house. We strapped the twins into the carseats double checking the seatbelts before climbing in ourself. Jenna doesn't like her carseat or cars. She spends most of the time on car journeys screming until she cries herself to sleep. We pulled up outside Nandos, 2 minuets after Jenna has set herself to sleep. Josh grabbed the double stroller out of the boot. I placed Isobel into one side of it. Josh brought Jenna and placed her in the other side.

"You take them in." I closed the boot and grabbed the bags before following Josh into Nandos. 

Liam's POV 

Emma and Josh finally joined us. The twins were sleeping like little angels. I'm so proud of Emma and Josh. They've adapted to the parenting thing so well but I knew Emma would she loves kids. Josh on the other hand adores them to say he didn't want them. We all ordered our meals before singing Happy Birthday to Niall. Jenna imidiatly started to cry. 

"Oh, Mummy's got an unhappy Jenna." 

"No, it's because we've come in the car. She doesn't like car journeys." Emma took Jenna out of the stroller and passed her to me. I gentally rocked Jenna back and forth. Her cries began to subside and she started with the cute baby noises. 

"Li? Can I hold Jenna?" Niall asked rather shyly. I nodded and passed Jenna over to Niall. Niall looked down at her in complete awe. 

"Thankyou Emma." Emma directed her gaze away from Isobel and on to Niall. 

"What for?" 

"Giving me the best birthday present ever." Emma smiled. She knew he was on about the twins. To Niall and the lads the twins are their great nieces and lets face it they are adorable. 

"Anyway, Uncle Niall we got you something." Emma passed Niall a wrapped present, Niall passed a now sleeping Jenna carefully to Josh and opened his present. Emma had got Niall a self made book from them all. Niall read each page out allowed. On the first page there was a picture of Em, Josh, Jenna and Isobel from when they were in hospital. 

Dear Uncle Niall. 

Thankyou for being amazing. You honestly have helpes so much with everything as have the others. (You're still my favorite uncle ever but shhhh) Also thankyou for sitting doing nothing on your birthday while I sat and gave birth to the little monsters I call my daughters. I'm sure as they grow up they will fall for your love for food and Nandos. Just know that we all love you even if we don't always show it. Including Josh.

The second and thrid pages were just full of pictures of us all. Memories of the past years since Em came to live with us. Nothing could ever erase the memories we had shared. 

The forth page had a picture of Josh that Emma had taken without him knowing at one of the many dinners Danielle had decided to host. 

Niall. 

I know we've never always been the best of friends but we've seemed to over come it. During the time Emma had run off you was there for me out of everyone. You would always be the one to comfort me when I needed it. Thankyou will never ever be enough. I apologise for all the hurt I've caused towards Emma. I know how much you love her and how much she means to you...I was an idiot and I realise it. I just want you to know that I'm grateful for everything and I love you.

Josh x 

Niall had started to wellup, his voice cracking as he read the message out loud. The next page was messages from Jenna and Isobel. 

Hello Uncle Niall. 

I understand we're too little to say or write anything but what difference does it make. We want to wish you the most amazing birthday ever! I hope you see us grow up and see our love for food and sleep grow. We're going to be just like you. We love you!

That's it Niall was off. Crying his bloody eyes out. He couldn't even read Emma's message but she didn't mind. It was like 10 pages long anyway so. 

"Thankyou Emma. Most amazing birthday ever. Even if it is a week late!"
