Chapter 24

"Sean, wake up, today is the day!" Kate now had her arms crossed across her chest. "Sean. Today of all days you choose to be lazy, I really do not understand you. I suppose you better have your sleep, for Tommy won't let you sleep tonight!"

 
It did confuse Kate how silent Sean was, but he had always been a deep sleeper. "Sean, Sean?"

She pulled part of his duvet off, he was still in his clothes. "You woke up, then got back to sleep, you know today is a important day."

She started at Sean, then realising what had really happened.

"God help this poor family, help, Sean is gone." She screeched. "What led him to this terrible fate?"

Lady McLoughlin let out a loud cry, rushing towards the bed. "My only child, Oh how I miss you, I beg of you, wake up, you are all I have left, Kate you have to get help, before it is too late."

McLoughlin also moved towards the bed. "The skin that was once so fair is now cold, the blood that was once flowed is now still, I fear that he has been this way for a while, he had so much purity and beauty, now he is gone."

All three of them dropped to their knees, wailing and crying. They were all at a loss for words. Next there was a knock at the door, showing Father Phil and Tommy Santiago.

"Are we ready for the wedding?" Said Father Phil.

"He can never get to the church. I can tell you that the only thing Sean has been sleeping with is the Grim Reaper. Death has occurred, again, to this poor family."

"Woe is me! This could not have happened to such a sweet boy, who was to be my husband." Said Tommy.

All Father Phil could think about was how his plan had succeeded, and how Sean could finally be happy.
