Moriko's Philosophy

A/N: Hey! Sorry I know I haven't updated in so long. I even missed y own deadline. I'm missing a flashback here, but I'll just put it in when I have time. I hope you like this chapter.

Team 7 was sitting together at Ichiraku's. They have finished they're first day doing D rank missions and have decided to spend the afternoon together and eat ramen. They have only been there for 10 minutes and already, Kakashi-sensei was regretting having offered to pay for his team.

Sakura was only halfway through her first bowl, which was what he was expecting. The other three however...

Moriko has finished her third bowl and is starting her fourth. For someone shorter than Naruto, if only by an inch, he expected her to eat less than Sakura.

Naruto and Sasuke were having some sort of unannounced eating contest. Kakashi found they're rivalry quite amusing at first. They're competition going from doing better than the other in their D ranks (although it seemed one sided as Sasuke didn't seem to care and only resulted in Naruto making a fool of himself) to fighting over who gets to sit next to Moriko at the ramen stand as Sakura has already taken the seat to her right. But the two of them have both already finished their tenth bowl and neither are showing any signs of stopping. Now Kakashi-sensei is just worried that he won't have enough money to pay for all the ramen they consumed. That and wondering where the heck those three put it all.

"Ugh" Sasuke's head slumped to the table, his chopsticks dropped on the side of his 11th bowl which was still half full.

Naruto gave Sasuke his signature grin. "I won!"

"Whatever. Nobody can eat more ramen than you."

Naruto grinned even wider as he slurped down the rest of the ramen from Sasuke's bowl.

Moriko finished her fourth bowl and turned he head to see Sakura just sitting there with an empty bowl of ramen. "Aren't you going to get another bowl?"

"No. I'm on a diet." Sakura replied as she gave Moriko a forced smile.

"Forget about your diet you need to eat. You shouldn't worry about your wait. Besides you wouldn't even have to worry about gaining any weight if you just trained harder." Moriko could already tell that Sakura never actually trained outside the Academy and that needed to be changed if Sakura ever hoped to be a true kunoichi. But she decided to leave it, at least until they finish their 'team bonding time' as Kakashi-sensei called it. "Teuchi, give Sakura a large bowl of miso ramen. Please."

***
After Team 7 has finished eating ramen (and Sakura finished eating the ramen Moriko told her to eat) Kakashi-sensei almost cried as he emptied out the contents of his wallet just to pay for all the ramen his students ate.

"Alright, let's meet at the bridge tomorrow at 7. Oh and just to let you know we're going to get our team photo taken before we go on our missions. We were suppose to get them today but I kinda forgot to get someone to take our picture." Their silver haired sensei told them before he used a transportation jutsu only leaving behind a puff of smoke in his place.

Sakura immediately turned to Sasuke with a huge girly smile on her face, but before she could utter a word, Sasuke was already racing with Naruto to the Uchiha private training grounds. Suddenly, Sakura was being dragged the opposite direction of where Sasuke was going. She was being dragged with incredible speed that everything was just a big blur to her.

Whoever was dragging her stopped and it took the pinkette several seconds to comprehend what had just happened. The first thing she figured out was that she's in one of the training grounds. Although she couldn't tell which one, she rarely ever came there to train. The next thing she noticed was that the only other person there was her only female teammate Moriko.
