The rest of the week goes by, nothing different happening. Soon it's the weekend, and I'm watching TV when I get a text. I pick up my phone and read it. It's from Kate.
party tonight at Jake's house! 10 pm. I'm sneaking u out.

I get up and go into the shower. Today, my session was cancelled, so I just stayed home. I grab a towel, go into the bathroom and turn on the hot water. I close the door, lock it and get undressed. I take a step into the shower. Even though I was shot a month ago, I feel almost as bad now as I did then.
I don't have to wear the dressing anymore, and I'm still used to the sponge baths. I'm so glad I can take a shower now. I close my eyes and sigh as the hot water runs down my skin. I wash my hair, and the rest of my body, being extra gentle around my shoulder.
I step out and dry off.I get dressed and blow dry my hair, putting it up in a ponytail. I start to put on my makeup when my mom texts me.
What do you want for dinner? I'm picking something up.
I tell her I want Subway, and go downstairs. I grab a Sprite, and head into the living room. I stay in there, binge-watching Pretty Little Liars until my mom comes home with food. She got my usual meal, a broccoli cheddar soup with a breakfast sandwich, and Kettle Cooked Lays.
I finish my food, still watching Pretty Little Liars until 9, and then I go put on some lipstick. My mom is upstairs in her room, already sleeping. Kate pulls up and texts me.
I'm outside. Ready?
