"Bitch, who the fuck you do think you are?" asks Patrice. She walks all the way into the room and rips me away from him, also ripping my top.

"Excuse me?" I reply, harsher than I intended but I don't care. Jake and Patrice have had an on and off again relationship since the 9th grade, and they have been dating for the past two years. I guess they are on again, but they didn't change their status on Instagram so I wouldn't know.

"You heard me. Who the fuck do you think you are, getting all up on my man, trying to get into his pants?" She starts advancing towards me, when Jake gets up and rushes in front of me to defend me.

She swipes, raking her nails across his cheeks. I push him out of the way, and I know what to do.

"Somnium." I say, while laying my right hand on top of my left. She immediately collapses to the floor.

Jake's eyes go wide. He opens his mouth, about to say something, when we hear the sirens.

He takes off running, leaving me to deal with Patrice. Even though I am a nice person, Patrice would kick a puppy into the street during oncoming traffic. I stuff the drugs in her hand, and some on her mouth. They won't question this.

I start running down the stairs when I run into a police officer. He grabs for my arm and I panic. I do the only thing I can think of.

I pull out my pepper spray and get his eyes, and spray his mouth when it opens. I bolt back upstairs, and there are two others chasing me. I dart into a random room on my right and close the door, locking it shut.

I know I can't go out the door anymore, but how about the window? I check, and there is a ledge just barely large enough for me to get out.

I open the window and start crawling out. I can't tell if I'm in the front or the back yard, but I keep going. The drop isn't that bad after a few feet, so I jump and roll off a table. My landing may not have been graceful, but it was effective.

All of a sudden, multiple hands grab at me and yank me back. Great. Exactly how I imagined today would go. They put on the cuffs and stuff me into one of the cars, and drive me down to the station.
