"W-Who are you?" I ask backing away towards Violet, who carefully places himself in front of me to hide myself.
The man had perfectly smooth blond hair that stood tall on his head in perfect straight lines. With thick eyebrows and high cheekbones he looked like he should be a very famous model, plump lips and a pointed nose. He wasn't hot or cute he was beautiful. He also had a perfectly symmetrical face.
"Lucian, please let's not do this here." Violet says and the tall man nods, he had to be almost seven feet tall, definitely making me feel short as can be.
"Let's talk in my tree, I'm sure my sister would like to see her too." Violet does nothing but nod, I pull on the back of his shirt but he just looks back at me and gives me a apologetic face. I glare at him as I obviously won't like what's coming.
"Follow me." The strange giant man, as he waves his hand opening a portal of some sort, my grip tightens on Violets shirt and he sighs. Walking in the portal followed by me as I skeptically look at it before being pulled along.

"Ahh brother how nice of you to show up unexpectedly." A females voice soft like honey flows into my ears, but so far all I could see was Violets back.
"I brought guests," Soon I'm pulled to the side leaving my post behind his back. "One I'm sure you've heard about by now." Looking around I couldn't help but gape, I felt like I was in a giant tree, it was about three stories high, the floor looked like the rings you would see normally in a tree. Along with book shelves scaling the walls.
My eyes landed on the long table in front of me, it too was also made up of wood.
"She's beautiful brother," I snap my eyes off of the table but to the female at the end of it. Beautiful was an understatement.
Perfect high cheeks bright blue eyes followed by bleach blond hair almost white as snow. Pale skin like cream in your morning coffee. She looked a lot like her brother but more fragile, like a glass doll.
What caught me off guard most was her sparkling wings that flapped behind her back. Like golden shooting stars falling down in the shape of a butterfly's wing. A hologram must have projected it but it was impossible, leaving me to believe that fairies do exist after all.
"What's your name my dear?" She speaks again her voice luring me in towards her.
"R-River." I say unsure about myself near a angel like her, she smiles and walks over to me slowly letting her golden dress flow around her body like silk.
"That's a beautiful name for such a beautiful woman," She says once she makes her way over to me, reaching her hand out she grazes her hand against my cheek, I flinch back and her eyes change. "You remind me of a fawn." Looking over to her brother I follow her eyes and see that he was staring at me.
"I can't use her, she's all yours." And with that her graceful self walked away towards the long table, before creating a portal with a wave of her hand and then vanishing.
I look back at Violet and try to move closer, only his slight head shake warns me to stay put. Having my eyes connect back with the giant.
"That was my sister Lucille, I'm her twin Lucian," he takes a step forward practically pushing his way over to me in seconds. "And you are our mate." Violet is lightning fast in pushing me behind him, growling hard at the tall man in front of us who didn't look a bit scared.
Me on the other hand almost pissed my pants.
"Macarius, I am not taking her away from you," Violet stops growling and his hand he had placed on my lower back moved back to his side. "I simply was stating a fact. Lucille and I are fine how we are, no need to throw a child into our business." He says and I take a deep breath out, as if I just got a load off my chest.
