Three - Moon

A cold hand trails down my arm, making me shiver in an unpleasing way. Never have I felt so uncomfortable and terrified in my life.

"Oh hush," He moves his hand to my neck, slowly grazing his knuckles across my shoulders. "You're not the only one who knows about the moons oracle, soon enough you'll be asking for my help." I look over to Violet as I feel like something bad is supposed to happen. His eyes are calm along with his body language, the same can't be said for Archilles, he looked like a nervous wreck stuck in stone.

"W-What oracle?" My voice barley above a whisper, but being close to a vampire and werewolves, no doubt they heard me loud and clear.

A deep chuckle comes up behind my ear, making me shrink my head into my shoulders, wanting to shrug him off like a bug.

"Oh did I spill the beans?" His hand leaves my back and I let out a huge breath I didn't know I was holding. "Oops." Then a whoosh of wind flies up my back and I'm thankful that I wore a hoodie today.

"How'd he know? I thought only you-?"

"He can read minds Archilles," Violet scolds him as if a two year old could know that. Even though I was left in the dust on what they where talking about. "We have to leave, we aren't safe out in the open," Archilles nods and shifts shaping his bones back into a deep brown wolf, one I still can't get over the fear of. "Apparently word spreads fast." Archilles lays down and motions for me to get on his back, seeing no problem I start to walk closer to him.

A low growl that sends me toppling into the dirt makes me and the wolf look towards the creator of such strength.

"You are with me." It shocked me that he could use his dark wolf voice in his human form. He shifts and lays down, waiting for me to get on, seeing how angry he had looked I didn't want to upset him more. I looked back at the brown wolf and he stood up nodded in the direction of Violet and turned around, starting to walk away from us.

Standing up I slowly walk over to him and hesitate as I reach out to grab on, I was worried he might snap back and break my arm but he used his foot and shoved me onto his back. Giving me no other choice but to grip my hands into his fur.

The fire was out and we where on our way.

A few hours later and they had begun to slow their pace, I knew we had to be getting close.

Archilles stayed close to us but had his distance, especially when Violet eyes would growl out to him whenever they touched furs.

Then we had arrived.

I couldn't help but let my jaw fall from the rest of my face as I looked at the giant mountain in front of me.

The face of the massive rock had a moon carved into it, right above a palace. I could never guess in a million years that a supposedly "extinct species" could have so much wealth.

A long bridge separated two waterways with rushing waterfalls pouring out the sides. Giant trees surround the entrance that separates off into two ways around the palace. Showing off a beautiful water fall in the middle of the court yard. Around the masterpiece was the most amazing thing I've ever encountered. With two massive stone pillars holding up the roof over a colossal wooden door filled with antique designs carved into the wood. Showing off a deadly battle.

Violet laid down waiting for me to get off, I almost barley notice the shift in height as I still stuck staring at the rest of the exterior.
