~Part 17: Crazy Night~

~Still Wendy~

I'm guessing she accepted the fact that she loves Natsu. I can't wait until she has little babies with Natsu! I bet their babies are going to look so adorable! I also have to be careful after I get them together though, they might do some things at night.. That's a might, though. But if they do and I can hear them from my room, I'm immediately jumping out my window.

A knock on my door interrupted my train of thoughts. "Come in!"

Natsu comes in and leaves the door open. "Hey, Wendy? When did Luce leave?"

"She left just a minute ago. And she called me her probably future-sister-in-law!" I cheered.

Natsu turned red in the face. "Sh-she what?"

I grinned widely. "She called me her probably future-sister-in-law!" Natsu quickly left my room. I wonder what he's gonna do? ...Hehe...

~Lucy~

I opened the front door to my mansion and Virgo greeted me. I went up to my room in the second floor. I plopped down onto my bed after getting my nightgown on and fell asleep. Happy fell asleep next to me.

(Guys, from here on, was normally just a cut scene on my pre-write on paper but, I am being nice enough to put what happen that night after she woke up after sleeping for about an hour...By the way, this is all from the top of my mind.)

When I awoke, I felt warm liquid running down my cheek. I wipe it off with the back of my hand. Tossing the blankets off myself, I throw my legs over the side of the bed and stand on my feet. I turn on the lamp on the nightstand and look at the back of my hand. Blood..? I look around. That guy that almost choked me to death was lying on the floor, knocked out and blood covered his face. Right above him, was Natsu, looking down at him in disgust.

Natsu crouched down, still staring at him. "Don't you ever think you have the right to just crawl into her bed, you worthless piece of shit." He spits in the short haired blond's face. "Tch." Natsu then turns his attention toward me. A shiver shoots up my spine. He stands and walks toward me. I take a step back but, hit my nightstand behind me. And, surprisingly, he just sits criss-cross on my bed and grins his signature toothy grin. "Hey, Luce. How'd ya sleep?"

What's also surprising is that Happy is still dead asleep.. I sit on the bed and my legs criss-cross as well. "How can you say that so casually after just nearly killing that guy!? And why are you even here?!" He thought for a moment before answering and furrowing his brow.

"Mmm... I am not sure.. I guess I'm just like that after a fight...? Or it's just that your here? I don't know." Natsu shrugs. "By the way, I'm here because... Uh... I don't know about that either. I guess it's just that.. when I first saw you, I felt the need to protect you and be with you at all times. So.. I think that's why I'm here?" He chuckles nervously and rubs the back of his head, red tinted on his cheeks. "Luce, imma sleep in here. Just to make sure your protected for the night. Don't get the wrong idea. But first..." He gets off the bed, picks up the blonde's limp body, opens the window and throws him out of it. He claps his hands together, dusting his hands off like he did some hard work.

My eyes go wide. "Why'd you do that?!" I quickly hop off the bed, push Natsu aside and stick my head out of the window. Then pull my head back into the room.

He shrugs. "He can't stay here forever, right? Plus, I did you a favor. He could've killed you in your sleep. Wouldn't want that to happen, wouldn't you?"

I glare at him. His expression changed. He looked taken aback. "And what if he came here to apologize? Then what?" I ask.

He closed the window shut and walks over to the bed. "Can we just go to sleep, I'm tired and it's late.." He plops onto the bed. Pff... How can I be mad at him..?

"Whatever.. But, your sleeping of the floor." I walk over to the bed and push him off. He rolls off the bed and hits the floor dramatically. I giggle slightly.

He pouts. "But whyyyyyyyy? Your bed is way more comfortable." He rolls around on the floor.

I laugh. "Fiiinnnnee. You can sleep on the bed, I'll sleep on the floor."

Natsu jumps onto the bed. I get off the bed but then.. "Nope!" He puts his arms around me and pulls me back onto the bed. I don't just sit, but fall back. I lay on the bed with wide eyes. "Your not going to sleep on the floor, you weirdo. You'll sleep on that side," He points to the side I was laying on, the right side. "I'll be on the other!"

I blush. "O-o-okay.. then.." He lays onto the other side of the bed and gets under the covers. I get under the covers as well. I lay on my side.

After about an hour, I'm still not asleep. I just lay there, thinking. I feel arms wrap around me. Hah, he thinks I'm asleep..

I turn the other way and put my arms around him, too. Happy in between us. Then I fall asleep, smiling.
