Hi! So if you don't really like The Hobbit or anything like that, you can just skip this or read it. Anything you wanna do. I forgot to mention her in the last chapter, but aseeltheblackstar requested the whole scene where Y/N kisses Daron and they get embarrassed. I AM STILL TAKING REQUESTS.

It had been a dark day. Gloomy, depressing, and sad. Just how you liked it.

Perfect for stealing from that ol' hobbit, you thought. It was a good evening to steal from Farmer Maggots' farm. He always seems to have good mushrooms, carrots, lettuce, and potatoes.

You have heard of dwarves passing through these parts. More of, you found that out five minutes ago because you saw a dwarf knocking on Bilbo's door. This was the first time you ever seen a dwarf. You don't get much travel through these parts by other people, and you don't get to travel either.

"HEY!! YOU DARE STEAL FROM ME?! SICK EM'!" Farmer Maggots voice boomed through the-used-to-be-quiet night. You heard his three dogs starting to come towards you and that was your way of deciding to run for your life.

You were running to Bilbo's house. It was quite far, though, while carrying the veggies in a satchel. You've known him ever since you were a little one. You were always taller than the Hobbits but no taller than the Big Folk.

You have no idea where you got into this mischievous habit, but you didn't mind it. You were running quick but you were running out breath quicker.

Before you knew it, you rammed into someone. He seemed to be wearing armor but was still wearing comfortable clothes.

You quickly backed up, face a cherry red, and managed to fall back onto your lower back in front of what you could only assume was a dwarf. "Oh my! Oh my! I am truly sorry! I-"

He was laughing. "It's. . . Fine. But may I know your name?" He seemed nice, a little flirtatious, but nice.

"Y/N. Y/N Baggins." You say, standing up, and brushing yourself off.

"Really? Well, I am Kili, and this," he went back into the brush, "Is my brother, Fili. Nice to meet you."

"Hello there, Fili. Nice to meet you as well. Did I ram into you, Fili? And I suppose we should start running." They both gave you a confused look. But, the barking and growling of the three dogs showed them why.

You three started to run, you in the lead. They seemed surprised by how fast you were for a Hobbit- or so they thought. You didn't know what you were "classified" as in Middle-Earth. You weren't exactly a Hobbit because you are way taller than them. But you weren't a dwarf either. What's also weird is that you have magic in you. So you could do spells and all that.

Once you three were safe on the doorstep of Bilbo's house, the dogs are only able to go so far, you knocked. It seemed to be quite a commotion going on in there.

"Oh! Hello, Y/N! Come on in!" You thanked him and walked in. Two dwarves stood in the kitchen, one taller and the other had long white hair (beard and hair). "Oh. Hello. Who are you, might I ask?" Bilbo said to Fili and Kili.

They said something back but you were too busy heading to your room in the Hobbit-Hole. You got to your room and took your satchel off of your neck and poured out the vegetables. "Hm. Let's see. Mushrooms, potatoes, carrots, and- Lettuce! My dear, I seem to have forgotten the lettuce. Or it fell out when I fell."

Suddenly, you heard much more ruckus from outside of your room. There was something about cheese and more demanding from Bilbo. Bilbo was your adoptive father. He saw you wondering about in the Shire and he found it in himself to take you in to his welcoming hope in the ground. You appreciated him ever-since.
