Chapter One
Selene
I tied the last of my dresses to a pillar of my balcony. Smiled at my sucsess, I quickly removed my beautiful lacy evergreen gown into a white long-sleeve blouse, with a brown vest, black jeans, and brown leather boots. Just in case, I wore my white-hooded cloak and brought my silver sword with me.
My name is Selene, princess of Lunaria, Land of the Moon. My mother died because of murder when I was little so I never been to Sol, our rivalry kingdom and also the only kingdom of Kria I've never been to, and that's where I'm headed now.
I fed my owl, Star. "Look after my room for me, 'kay?" I said, patting her feathery head.
She just stared at me with her big starry eyes and hooted. I smiled then I climbed down the rope of dresses I made. So no one will suspect a thing, I whistled some owl friends to carry it in my room. Immediately, a few owls hooted me hello and carried the rope through my balcony window. I smiled. Owls are so smart, I thought.
I ran to the royal stables. Then silently took my horse, Serena, I climbed into her back and led her to the forest. I can't go to the main gate because there will be guards so I'll take the secret passageway. Only the royal family knew about this in case Sol will create an attack of surprise.
I hopped down Serena's back, and guided her into the dark cave. Lunarian eyes are night-vision like cats so it was easy to guide Serena in the cave.

I stood at a dark corner of a house. I left Serena to a meadow with some horses. There must be a celebration because everyone was standing stalls, flowers filled the air, many people were preparing food and stuff.
I hooded myself and walked over to a fruit stand and looked at the fruits. They were all looked delicious, it makes my mouth water. The old lady behind the stand said. "Hello, young lady," she smiled, cheerfully. "Would you like some of my fruits? Just for today, I'm going to sell them for free."
I was so delighted that I took an apple. I took a bite. It was so juicy and sweet. I manage to ask the old lady. "What's the celebration?"
"Why, the prince is turning eighteen today!" The old lady replied, happily. "And he wanted his birthday at the town square! Like a festival! Why didn't you know?"
"I'm a foriegner from Weng." I lied. The old lady seems to buy it since I'm a good liar. "I'm just here to explore."
I wave her goodbye as she waved back. Solians are so friendly, I thought. It could've been nice being friends with them like before.
The Solian Prince must've been well-respected because every shop, every stand and every store is selling for free. Nobody seems to suspect that I'm the Lunarian Primcess. He's almost my age because I'm turning eighteen too in a couple of weeks.
I came out from a book store after I bought a book named the History of Sol. In the corner of my eye, I saw a crowd. Curiously, I approached it to see what's all the commotion about. I stood on tip-toes to see but the people were taller than me. So I forced myself to squeeze through into the front. No one seemed to notice because they were all so foucused. I saw what was going on. Two boys were sword-fighting. One was about twenty years old. He had brown hair and sea-green eyes. The other one was probably my age, he had golden blond hair and sky blue eyes. They were wearing the same white shirt, jeans and black combat boots and like all Solians, they were tan.
I watched them fight. The blond-haired boy lunged his opponent. But the brown-haired boy dodged him, kicked him into the ground and pointed his sword at him. Suddenly, the blond-haired boy tripped his opponent as the brown-haired boy's sword flew and landed far away from him and the blond-haired boy pointed his sword at him.
