"Cammie wake up," said someone shaking me.
"Hmm what?" I question rubbing my eyes. I rolled over to see my mom holding back a laugh. It all came back to me and I realized where I was. On a plane to Australia.
"Shit it's real," I sigh sitting up.
"Yep, and watch the language!" She yelled.
"Sorry," I say. She rolled her eyes and went back to sitting by my dad. I looked down and saw I was tagged in a photo on twitter. I opened my phone and saw it was Cal and I last Christmas. By looking at us you could never tell me are brother. He had the dark kiwi look that my mom has. With dark skin and features. Curly black hair and dark chocolate eyes. He was tall and I was short. He had some tattoos covering his arms and chest. I had none. I had long straight chestnut brown hair and blue eyes. The tanned skin I thankfully got and naturally long eyelashes. I wore a nose ring and had a belly button ring. I decided to call him. Just for a quick question.
"Hey Cal!" I cheer.
"Hey asswipe," he chuckled.
"Whatever I have a quick question then I gotta go," I explained.
"How can I help? Everything peachy?" He questioned.
"Everything's fine," I smile.
"Alright ask away," he inquired.
"How are they getting the cows to the new house?" I question.
"Come on Cammie don't-," he stopped mid sentence realizing it was a legit question. "Well actually I don't know," he said itching his head from the noises I heard on the other end. I just shrugged and laid my head on my other hand.
"This sucks," I sigh.
"It will get better I promise," he replied.
"Oh shut up you make friends so easily it took me 10 years to get a real friend," I scoff.
"New beginning," he said in my dads tone. I laughed and had the feeling of needing to change my clothes. I was currently wearing spandex and an oversized hoodie.
"I gotta change," I say getting up. I grabbed my bag and made my way past him after a struggle of getting past the people. I walked into the bathroom my phone buzzed for like the sixteenth time. I looked to see it was Abby but I was surprised when I looked and it was a totally different day then it was minute before. That thought made me tired. I answered the phone, seeing it was Calum.
"So where are ya? Are you close?" He questioned.
"Umm to be honest I have no idea where we are, but my guess is close somewhat because of the time change," I explain as I strip from my old clothes.
"Oh damn okay thats so awesome!" He cheers.
"Yeah awesome is one way to describe it," I sigh wetting a wash cloth.
"Hey you'll be alright we'll be in the same school, same grade hopefully some of the same classes. I'll help you," he explains. "Think of it this way you already have a friend." Him saying that made me feel a lot better.
"Thanks being friends with my brother will so help my status," I sigh pulling on a pair of jeans shorts and a tank after my essentials.
"Hey no it won't I'm a loser, but anyways my mates coming text me when you guys get to your house I'm gonna come over," he said. I will never get used to the accents down here. I've always wanted to be around them but now I wound be the outcast.
