-Camila-

"I can not believe you just left last night and didn't even say good job!" yelled Lexi into the phone as I sat on my bed, my head pounding from all the crying I did last night.

"I'm sorry," I apologized for the millionth time.

"So, I assume your feelings for Luke still stand,"

"What feelings?" I question.

"Quit lying to me and yourself," she said right before the phone clicked off. I sat there thinking about what she said. I did not have feelings for Luke. He was my best friend of course I loved him, but I had a boyfriend how could I have feelings for Luke?

"Camila it is time to go to the house," my mom peered in my room. The house was as in the mayor's house where this whole thing was supposed to be held and all the families on the council had to go. I nodded getting up and grabbing my shoebox. My dress had already been pressed and was hanging in the dressing rooms.

"Are you excited?" my mom beamed at me as we drove there.

"Yeah sure," I shrug.

"How is Tristen is he excited?"

"Yeah," I lie right through my teeth I had not talked to him since our little fight in the hall. He had texted me, but I never replied. I was not thinking about anyone or anything other than Luke. I wondered if he would be here. This was not some place boys like my brother and his bandmates were appreciated.

The next thing I knew I was sitting in front of a beautiful mirror beside Shannon getting my hair curled by my mother as she gushed about Tristen to Shannon's mom.

"I hope I win," Shannon finally spoke to me.

"You will you are amazing," I smile at her. My mother had won, and Mali did whenever she was old enough to do it. I just wasn't like them. I was more of the independent one. I mean look at who I am friends with, the rejects at school and you think I would win?

"You are ready for your dress, beautiful," my mom gushed as she helped me stand up. I looked in the mirror my hair was curled tightly pulled half up half down into a crown looking thing. My makeup was done to match my red dress, making my tanned skin and brown eyes pop.

"We will be downstairs waiting," she smiled as she left me in my room to get ready. I smiled as she walked out. Once she left I fell onto the couch looking out the window at the rich people walking around, faking to the world that they liked one another. I shook the thought off, getting up and walking to my beautiful dress. I slid down the bag holding it to see the red silky color. It was an elegant off the shoulder mermaid dress. It fit my body perfectly when I had tried it on. Tristen and my mother had been with me. Speaking of Tristen, I hadn't heard from and or seen him around. I was frantically looking for my phone when the door swung open revealing Ashton.

"Ash!" I cheer running over to hug him, "what are you doing up here?" I question.

"I wanted to see your dress duh,"

"Aww, I know this is a stupid question, but have you seen Tristen around anywhere?"

He looked as if he was thinking and then he began to speak, "no I haven't actually."

"HEY! What are you doing up here?" yelled someone at him. "This is a no boy zone! There are girls changing have you no respect young delinquent!"

"I am leaving gee," he said. He turned to me and winked. How was that supposed to help me? I had no idea where my boyfriend was?
